It tickles my brain seeing all those Lego Technics pieces that I'm familiar with from my childhood but they're HUGE!
Yup... 👍👍😁
All I could think when I saw those giant Lego Technic pieces was I want them. So awesome.
@@MattDenton You should produce the parts and sell them as a kit
Erik Middeldorp They’re grown up now. Just like you.
might take the fun out if it if he had to start mass producing.
This man's nephew is really lucky to have such a cool uncle.
Yes he is 😀
He’s lucky to have one
ann prath dang.
Tat took a wrong turn
Yeah
Wow this is the fastest growing comment ever
You’re like the Collin furze of 3D printed Lego!
Im happy with that 👍
I thought the same!
But far less annoying :-)
Discoverd this channel today and it is marvelous. Love the presentation, explanation and level of humor. Easy subscribe.
😆 thanks ✌️
Definitely
This is why 3D printing was invented to make giant Lego stuff
I agree 👍
I was expecting to see a channel with a few hundred thousand subscribers and a view count of millions but this is so underrated. Good job man.
Thank you! Spread the word 😆
He jus got one more sub lol
This has to be the most satisfying thing I’ve ever seen
Haha! Thanks 🙏
😆👍
Imagine Legoland having a few of these on a go-kart track at one of their parks
Indeed.. I hope I get commission
Hmm it may need a seatbelt.
But you have to build your own before you can race.
@@MattDenton nice I have lego technic at home
@@MattDenton try making the lego technic bugatti huge so you can drive it
I want to ride it around the block and give the finger to all the kids staring at me in awe.
Yup... I'll be doing that 😆
yeah i wish i was happy too

Joke's on you, they're actually tiny people working with real lego pieces
They're on to me :D
Contagious Storm plot twist Matt is a mini person working on real legos
deeeeeeeep
This man is a legend
thinking on those old films with "the borrowers"
when I was young I always wanted to have the power to be small enough to live and enjoy into my lego creations. now that I am grown, I see that someone is doing that !!!
😆👍
Truly LEGO proving again that it’s design is genius and timeless with its strength.
Yes indeed 😆
OMG!!! The fork lift! The very first technic kit I had as a kid! Absolutley awesome!
Thanks. Mine too! 👍
I can't help but notice the attention to detail on this i would loove to do something like this but design it myself with my product designing background.
Thanks. Do it!
All I can say is after all of this time and effort, and it being AMAZING...HOW DOES THIS NOT HAVE MILLIONS OF VIEWS!😱
🤷🏻♂️
lego NEEDS to make life size sets like this!
Yup!
7:24 man, those shoes look so superb. Matches with the Navy blue jeans via complimentary colors to boot
Thanks! They are my bb8 inspired starwars shoes 😁
This is incredible! Even though you've shown exactly how you made it, my brain keeps insisting that those are real lego pieces, and you're interacting with them through some very clever CGI :D Can't wait to see the finished version.
Thanks 🙏😆
You are crazy, but I absolutely love it!!!
Thanks 🙏
I have found my hero, the man who gives hope to all grown up boys!!!!!
😂 thanks 🙏 pls share 👍
@@MattDenton definitely will do. Not I want to extend my leave and apply for a loan 😆
I appreciate the fact that you respect the lock down and don't go out and get silly things like plywood. I work at a hardware store and we are having record breaking sales because people are bored and don't take this seriously. I'm at risk just going to work but no one cares. Thank you sir.
Yeah of course! Keep up the good work!
EPIC as always!
Thank you 🙏
This looks amazing :) I kinda feel like this would be great for space exploration. With 3D printers the astronauts on mars could build every machine they need, and their kids would know how to build advanced machines simply because they played with legos growing up :)
Wouldn’t work due to plastic being extremely light, now imagine that weight on Mars or the moon. This thing would have to have loads of downforce.
@@scriptedreality2330 well it’s not like you have to use plastics to make legos on every planet. I suppose you could use denser materials on Mars?
This is the coolest thing ever. How come this channel doesn't have at least 100K subs?
True! Pls share.. appreciated :D
How is it that CZcams hasn't recommended me this channel before? This is like finding a gold nugget.
Oh cool ! Glad to like it 😊
9:01 a normal mortal would give that a quick scrub with some sand paper ........ love your work
😆.. yeah the lathe may have been overkill 😁👍
Trust me, everything changes when you have access to a lathe.
😆
This is SOOOOO awesome! I am going to try this too!
Thanks 🙏
This is simply amazing, and this (my) comment is from a 64 yr old grandmother who has always loved and gifted Lego - I can only imagine the work that went into this. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the feedback 👍
You have GOT to be joking. That is so badass dude. I'm twenty years younger after watching that video. Great stuff. Keep it up.
Thank you!
ok this is my first time checking out your channel, its pretty f***ing dope man
Thanks 🙏
I love it! My hat goes off to you sir! I am still watching but had to stop and say how jealous I am of you.
All the best and keep building!
Thank you 👍😆

My Brain is so confused this is AWSOME i WANT GIANT LEGOS!
Thanks 🙏
Jaw dropping. the orange and grey look amazing.
Yeah I really like it now 🙏👍
Alot of people might build a lot of these lego in real life it would be cool to see.
Formula Lego!
Me: *is bored*
CZcams: “Want to see a guy make a giant Lego go-cart?”
Me: “Shut up and give him my views”
HAHA! Thanks :D
Amazing. Childhood tickled.
this man pushes lego beyond lego
Amazing!!! I would love to see a race with Colin Furze's Go-Kart ;o)
Ummmm 🤔
8:35 When you're single over the lockdown.
:D
I thought lego came to an end, then I came across this video to explore more heavenly steps of lego.
HAHA! THanks ! :D
No , thank you for making awesomely sized videos!
For real if this guy started putting his creations in a gallery people would pay 💰
I have a plan for that! Check out my display shelf build!
Imagine making giant BIONICLE
NAV615 Now that would be hella amazing
WOW!! just discovered your channel and love your content:D lifesize lego is a dream and you sir are making it true :D kudos from Norway
Thank you. Appreciated.
It's really cool to see big LEGO pieces!
This takes the term MOC to another level.
Thanks 🙏
Wow, amazing job, dude. Oo
Would like to build this kind of stuff one day !
Thanks.. 🙏
15:36 - That's not a drill bit... THIS is a drill bit! (Nice!)
19:12 - Sounds like you need a hydraulic press.
20:35 - You could always go with the LEGO 2717 Technic seat.
Yeah I had a 2717 seat.. maybe I'll take a look! Not sure my hips would fit it though :D
That's just so cool. Lego should sponsor this.
Yes they should 😆
It’s so weird seeing all these Lego parts a played with as a kid, but now massive
This is utter madness. I love it!
Wondering if those inner rear bearings might creep inwards along the axle - maybe need little retaining plates or glue the outer rings in place?
they'll be glued or held in with retainer ring.
Technic space shuttle next? :), seriously though, that is alot of work, very well done Matt, its awesome!!
Thanks 😊
The original was one my favourites as a young nipper in early 90's, top work
Thanks :D
Totally underrated. This is so childhood dream come true I even did not know I had yet. Cheers! Can’t wait to see it going!
Thanks. appreciate the feedback! pls share.
Seeing those pieces really messes with your eyes/head.
👍👍
Im loving all your builds and can i ask what 3d printer you use
Thabks. I use lulsbot Taz6 printers.
@Matt Denton *thanks
@@randombird390 shut the fuck up

@Street Cat how about you
That is really well done mate. Those pieces are just giant LEGO bricks. Also they sound like regular LEGO pieces when sped up in the montage! Such a cool project.
Thank you. Pls share 👍
I am amazed at the talent some people posess!
Thanks 🙏
*Lego people when they see what he's made:* "HEY!"
Me: I asked myself what I would print on a 3D printer. Maybe some small parts every now and then. Can't think of a lot of things I'd have to print right now.
Matt Denton: Hey, let me show you something...
Haha 👍👍👍
What the hell, that's amazing!
Thanks 🙏
I absolutely love this! Excellent!!
Thanks.. pls share 👍

Put some lego shoes on and you will grow
Just brilliant!
Thank you 🙏
Dude. AWESOME work on this. Cant wait to watch your channel grow
Thanks 🙏
ight stress over, no more loss lego bricks on the carpets now
Blue Panther you fool, they are already lost in the carpet, and this time they’re 100x deadlier.
Great Job!!
What did it cost to build this?
Anytime I wan to make anything printed it cost me a house payment to print lol.
I’m gonna assume around 900$ with the filament.
This is purely amazing and made my Day! Thanks! Cant wait for the follow up Video
Thank you. Pls share 👍
This is impressive, can't wait to see it finished.
Thanks! Me Too!! :D
Since the Great Lego fiasco of removing 3d files labeled as Lego, Do you plan to re-upload files as "building bricks" or something of that nature? I failed to download the files while they were available. I would love to see these files again.
I don't know yet..
I want to see the Lego emerald night printed up to the scale of any local live steam clubs gauge
For newcomers to the channel you may like the 5 X scale R/C version of this Go-Kart I made a few years back! With scale Lego motors 😁
czcams.com/video/NRL-jwJoaBs/video.html
This is amazing you can really make your creations come to life
This was surprisingly hard to get my head around 😂 Kept thinking you must just be a very small man building a normal size lego set
😬... Maybe I am...
Matt Denton hmmmm
one of those "infinite" y axis printers would be ideal for the long pieces
Yes it would 👍👍👍
Possibly the greatest thing I've ever seen!
Thanks 🙏
How awfully brilliant is this, then !!! Awesome.
Thanks 🙏
12:00 theres so much engineering in this to support the change in scale .. perhaps you need tweak it for some ackerman angle and maybe some suspension compliance :)
Yeah the stearing is going to be horrid! Parallel, all the weight at back, no differential. I have some ideas but want to see how bad it is before I work on making it better 😉
@@MattDenton no differential good point maybe you need to add one :)
That's amazing but you might not like that "light steering" at speed :P
It's going to be horrible at any speed 😆
Glad to see the System scales!
Yeah a bit of fettling required!
That is beyond amazing and probably one of the best videos I have seen that shows what a 3D printer can do and why it exists.
Thank you! appreciated.. pls share :D
Reminds me of Lego speed champions in Forza Horizon 4.
Honestly just messing around with giant Legos looks like so much fun
I might have to print a few bricks...
Do it! They make great shelf ornaments
I think every child deserves so.eone like this to further the spark in their imagination
Thanks 👍
It’s so cool seeing giant legos
Thanks 🙏
What you need when you didn’t pass your driving test.
this make my want to buy a larger 3d printer
This was done on my Taz 6
i dont even have one
You absolute MADMAN! Brilliant.
btw, you are the very first (out of about 100) content makers where I actually hit the subscribe button as soon as you mentioned that
Oh thanks 👍👍👍
This is a dream come true!!
When I first heard of 3D printers long ago,
I thought "Sweet! I can print my own LEGO."
Never thought of making them bigger, genius!!
Ever think about making a huge LEGO Great Ball Contraption?
Given the time.... And finding... Sure 😆
@@MattDenton I'm sure we could find a simple one as to not kill your printers :)
15:37 That drillbit could make a Chuck Norris.
Why doesn't this have more subscribers?
Probably because I don't upload regularly... Just when I have time 👍
@@MattDenton Yeah that is a factor but still.
I like it because you're passionate about what you're doing.
Thank you... I am 😁
Cool project. Was fun to watch 💪🏻
Thank you
Now put a 5hp Briggs flathead off a tiller or sommat on it
I love your work with the upsizing of Legos, any chance you can share your other giant lego files? since they were taken down from thingiverse?
Not sure if they will just be taken down again. I keep having people offer to buy them... Not sure what to do without offending Lego.
Yeah I removed the work Lego from all of the files but still unlisted in thingiverse.
@@MattDenton Did you try reaching out to Lego and asking what their stance is on your projects? I'm from denmark and have a bit of experience with them, and they generally are a reasonable bunch.
Its not like they are loosing sales or anything like that on account of your work, more the direct opposite, so maybe you'll be in luck... I know they have previously opted to work WITH fans and hobby creators, rather than against them (eg. in the case of custom amateur made sets which look exactly like real official LEGO sets, only you cant buy them).
I haven’t no. I was told the reason they took all the fam stuff down was because they had to be seen to take all content down so they could take on the real vilans such as Lepin. Would be happy to talk to them though. I was going to offer them the giant forklift for their head office.
@@MattDenton I bet they'll love it! Thanks for sharing your awesome project.
That's fantastic toy for all family haha...Great job!!!
Petition to make this a official lego set.
😆
Funny to hear: "I can always extend it by one Lego-unit", although are these actually "Lego-units" ;-)
Well one Lego unit at this scale.. is still one Lego unit 😆
@@MattDenton It depends on how you interpret them. Anyway, it would be great if you can actually stack the standard 4x2, with a Duplo 4x2 all the way to YOUR scale ;-) (if scaled accordingly)
@@MattDenton But I also saw you used a 3x3 plate. I do not remember we had those, especially as you have the Technic parts with the crowns to position them... wonder if those teeth on yours will eventually also wear and break ;-).
Great stuff!!
Yeah the 3x3 was a cheat to get a 6x6 and gluing together...
a (lego Unit) is called a Stud and everything is messured by it.
Really nice ( 19:52 but thafuq was that? 😂)
😆
Great job! I am look forward to hear that you develop the project! Awesome! :D
Thanks 🙏
