- Flying over New Zealand from south to north. Nice views of Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown. Passing over Mount Cook - the highest mountain in New Zealand. Later a landing at Auckland Airport.

That is far more than remarkable. It is spectacular, from aircraft livery to mountainous view at takeoff.

New Zealand .. the best-kept secret in the world.
secret??
It's no secret anymore and is a popular destination now!
The best shared secret may be more apt :)
Its not a secret country
Pfft, it's not even real.

Amazing! Took me right back to this amazing country...thanks for sharing!
I had that same departure flight from Queenstown, but I was sitting on the left side, so couldn't see the town. Wow I could see the Skyline lift and restaurant on this footage. I actually saw an Air New Zealand airplane doing this exact departure while I was at the Skyline. Awesome views, and great town. Can't wait to go back. Th anks for sharing.
Quality of the photography is superb, a great video of a route I hope to fly soon. It would be cool to get the same scenes in winter with the snow and long shadows!
Great video which also brings back fond memories of my Air New Zealand flight from Queenstown to Auckland in October 2012.
What an landscape........ WOW!!! Perfect video here!

Spectacular! Nice filming. Hope to still visit NZ one day, from Uk.
Wow, that beautiful!
Amazing video! Thanks for sharing it. We just returned from NZ and had a daylight flight from Queenstown to Auckland, but were unfortunate to encounter a thick cloud cover. So we could see virtually nothing of the incredible panorama you captured. Thanks to your video, we got to see all that we missed...
Incredible!
Thanks for sharing the awesome video!
thanks mom !
What an incredible video!
Lovely video of the flight over New Zealand !
Simply amazing
Beautifully shot.
Beautiful
Awesome video planning a trip to NZ next year
the livery of this jet is awesome! here American Airlines has used the same livery for all of its existence, maybe :)
Fabulous backdrop
:)
Nice flight, thanks for letting me sit by the window.
:)
A terrific treat.
Great vid. Thanks. Its been more than 10 years since I have flown from Queenstown. Otherwise fly in and fly out from Christchurch. I should do it soon.
A flight into Queenstown is quite something. I got a direct flight from Brisbane Queensland Australia to Queenstown the flight took about 3 hours and 30 minutes.
awesome scenery
If you put the you tube it would be amazing new viewing area for the public sharing the views together
This is a beautiful
Amazing video! Beautiful scenery shots! Liked! Your camera work is really superb!
thanks ! it's a beautiful country
TheSmurfboard Yeah, it sure is! Still have to visit Sth island tho, in all these years I've never been there. Well, I've been in Picton once, but that was as low as I've been that day.
More of that please!
Great video
Awesome New Zealand :)
omg wow amazing! subbed :)
You could watch the sports to with a big curved screen sharing the views together
beautifully takeoff
Great video. I appreciate the absence of music. It felt like I was inboard with you :)
Great colour scheme
I could not help but notice at the beginning of this film of Queen's Town Airport just before take off to Auckland a large shape object looking like a one corner of a very very large box poking through a cloud layer of the sky above the mountain range next to a very very very large almond shape cloud it struck me as very odd compare to the rest of the cloudy sky. I think it might have been a perhaps a cloaked invisible alien space craft visitor. Look at the top left hand corner of the film as the plane turns on to the runway.
Great video! I'm flying this very route next month and am looking forward to the views. What time of the year was this filmed and what camera did you use?
Butter landing
My family's hometown. You get just a smooth video sticking a cellphone to the window with blutack (tried and tested).
Those black Planes gotta attract the Sun up in the Sky making them Hot as Hell ?!!
Apparently there wasn't much change in the jets. From memory only the dash-8's or the Beech 1900's did get affected. I may be wrong, but I remember something about the little planes getting hot
Well done! No Parkinsons, no flagwaving.
Was there in may 2018
And that's why it's known as Godzone.
I being kiwi , I love my country....
Awesome clip bro, what camera did you use ? Thanks heaps for sharing thoroughly enjoyed it
Need a new viewing area in itb. To see the planes again
Your video is fantastic. If you have a Facebook account lookup as many holiday Facebook pages and post this video and you would get a lot of views.
Lovely Nation, I thought i saw a dwarf
Could be Gimli trying to catchup to the others🤣
Absolutely amazing video! if I may ask, what camera did you use and what settings? I'm guessing GoPro 3+ black edition?
Hey thanks ! I use a Canon s100 pocket camera.
TheSmurfboard WOW it did a really great job.
tenraek
que lugar lindo e esse ?
Which seat where you sitting in.
How cool does that black livery look?
What seat ?
Great video! I understand that pilots need special accreditation to fly to Q/town
Yes they do .
When they come into land from the north through the mountain pass the planes fly in a straight line for less than 2 mins and all the ANZ planes are in auto pilot mode now have been since the airbus A320's were bought by ANZ.
Amazing! How did you make your footage so stable?
probably after effects or some image stabilization software
correct
what stabilization program did you use?
adobe after effects
Central Otago was ruined after the Aucklanders discovered it.
NZ, Dave Dobbyn, Greg Murphy, Neil Finn, Etc
6:10 that cloud looks like a UFO
`I'll try this in Flight Sim 2020 to see how it looks.
they just showed you how it looks in real reality
Is the aircraft powered by two IAE V2527-A5 engines?
Yes......all a320's in this part of the world use them......Jetstar included.
minute 4:40 and flaps are still not retracted! WOW!
The pilot was trying to reach a cruise level in the minimum amount of airspace possible by executing a series of corkscrew turns. I have no idea why, but I hope the real reason was yolo !
Incredible! Some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen from an airplane video. The view at 6:41 is absolutely Heaven-like! Is that a snow covered volcano crater at 8:34 (right side of picture)? Kind of intriguing sitting out there all by itself.
Thanks for the wonderful video!
Not a volcano. Valley has been heavily glaciated. Morgen Hill was obviously made of tougher rock than nearby Lake Hayes
Better than old zealand
I've sat in the cockpit of that plane! I saw it at the open day for Wellington Airport's new International Terminal. Here is a link to all of my Aircraft Photos on Flickr: www.flickr.com/photos/105055766@N08/10220476525/in/set-72157636453154505/
when was this video taken please?
this was last december
is this a island
Yep the South Island of NZ.
