      @@Austin-vg8kn No because the Prodigy has a polymer grip module. A TRP would have the metal frame. I'm thinking it would be similar to the Kimber KDS9

  • @rexhinlo3398
    @rexhinlo3398 Před 6 měsíci +1

    I doubt the "hand-select" claim of the frame and slide. The frames and slides nowadays are built oversized and are fitted with very tight tolerances which could work against the pistol's original design. Too tight a slide to frame fit might have reliability problems due to poor lubrication and if the pistol is dirty. A somewhat generous tolerance to the slide and frame fit is better. What matters most is the barrel fit. A sloppy barrel fit won't give you the desired accuracy. But wait. We are talking here of a combat pistol, not a bullseye pistol.

  • @chrism8324
    @chrism8324 Před 6 měsíci

    I owned the old TRP. Those tritium sights suck. There is no white in them. It's just a tritium capusul surrounded by a thin metal ring which can't be seen well. They are not like Trijicon HD sights which have a white or orange ring around the tritium capsul. Springfield also uses a different cut than novak so no good sights will fit unless you use a shim. So annoying.

  • @roweshowtactical
    @roweshowtactical Před 6 měsíci +1

    It’s 2024, no optics cut? Fail. I saw somebody from Springfield called this a working man’s 1911, at $2000? Springfield missed the boat on this big time, completely toned, deaf and clueless as to options and price for such a pistol in 2024.
