- In my latest Mountain Days Vlog (originally hosted on the Flybubble CZcams Channel) I head up Bristly Ridge for sunrise and then fly off the summit of the Glyderau on my lightweight paraglider.

That ridge scramble is inspiring. Thank you
This video is a work of art. Bravo.
What an absolutely fantastic video. Everything is great but I love the narration ... just enough talking, no hype, no drama, just reality. Love it.
Thanks very much. 😀👍
Oh yes now that is a day well spent on planet earth 💪🏻🍀☀️👍🏻
Yes absolutely!
So bad ass made even more so by the fact that you are so chill and have zero ego! Love it!
That’s very kind, it was a stunning morning.
What a lovely video, super chilled.
What brave people!
Some superb footage here, a vast improvement over the usual washing machine experience of helmet mounted cameras panning all over the place and showing you close-ups of various blurry rocks. My only criticism is why was it so short. I would happily watch a full hour of footage this good!
thanks for this movie video。
This deserves far more likes
I love it Rob, ultimate freedom!!! I would love to try the paragliding but not sure if I could make the jump😂. I was watchin paragliders soaring from the top of Tryfan yesterday, beautiful
Super walk in route, weather/ conditions looked just amazing. Great videos again and again of your paraglide-descends, these are so much better than any drone footage by far. So scared of trying it but really want to!
Thanks very much Nigel. Give it a try, it is amazing. Most BHPA schools will do a taster session and I’m sure you’d enjoy it.
Just fuckin wow
Love these videos Rob..
Thanks very much Simon. I’m hoping to keep them coming.
Absolutely stunning Rob your flight down was fantastic, just been reading your article in Trail 👍👍
Thanks very much 😀👍
Not sure how I missed this, Rob! I haven't done Bristly in years - again, not sure why- but I'm guiding some return clients up it tomorrow! Ace video, I wouldn't expect anything less.
Hey thanks very much Nick 😀 It was a stunning morning and I can’t wait for a few more as the summer comes to a close. Hope you have a great outing today!
Great Video Rob,loved it.Cracking Grade 1 scramble, great day out if you come over Tryfan via the North ridge,
Totally agree with the description of Dexters gully, I did not enjoy my trip up that one and certainly wouldn't want be below another group.
Morning Mr Johnson. Inspired so much by your "Hike and Fly", this week (W/C 29th July 2024), I completed my Elementary Pilot.... I hope to be following your footsteps soon... One question I have is:-
What harness do you use?
Regards, Ned Needham
Thats ace, thanks very much. I use an Air Design Le Slip 2 with the optional airbag: flybubble.com/airdesign-le-slip-2
Happy flying and all the best, Rob.
