Austin beat this pop regularly, but nobody beats it these days. There was so much energy back in the late 90s in wrestling. It's almost impossible to replicate that, but Phil Brooks is definitely trying and I admire the effort. He's the best thing to happen to wrestling in 20 years. He's not on Austin's level yet, but he's better than anything in wrestling right now.
Well the reason WWE doesn’t get this pop is because they now announce returns in advance on social media out of desperation to get higher viewer ratings. A surprise return (like Edge at Royal Rumble) excites people a lot more IMO

If you build it, they will come... Tony Khan & AEW are just killing it, and gaining huge momentum every single week. They done an outstanding job at creating new stars, like Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D & Darby Allin, just to name a few. The AEW Society (fans) are just as important to the shows. Hate to be that guy but no one is getting this type of hyped crowds for WWE. That's just a stone cold fact. Brother.
