This is working good for me in a rural area in northwest Washington state in the USA. My house is in somewhat of a "dead zone" for all three of our major phone carriers. Plus, internet is not available at the street, Starlink is not available until the end of the year, and I have too many trees for other satellite internet options.

Obviously this router's parabola is directional, versus an omni array inside most phones and pocket routers. When you were testing indoors, and the second test, was it precisely aligned towards your nearest cell tower or was it just looking roughly on the right azimuth and elevation? What are the typical LTE speeds for the network you were testing with?
How is the power connected through the antenna cable? Do I need a special cable that also can transport power?
it depends on the frequency of the lte bands, very well for frequencies above 1ghz below the antenna seems a bit scarce. the b20 is heavily sacrificed does not have a good gain
Corporate sim with unlimited internet plan is the best one to use for this antenna right?
I have a point to point internet connection, but I'm planning to have this kind of antenna for my corporate sim as a back up internet.

Use the operating system or app to align the dish. It has to be pointed EXACTLY at the tower to realize the full dish gain.
Good video. This one has no carrier aggregation, right? So, could you place a smartphone also with no carrier aggregation at the same spot as this device with the same SIM and test the internet speed on the same site to compare these two?

Is that ok to put this antenna on windowsill and point outside through window, but not to put it directly outside? Will that make any difference in potential speed?

Look uo your carrier and check what lte bands it uses. Then check whatever phone or device you want to use and make sure it has those bands
why does it have only 10/100Mbit Ethernet when the LTE category would allow up to 150 Mbit/s speed? Is it an old one? Shouldn't it have a Gigabit port?

I checked the MikroTik specs on your Amazon link and the specs is not specific for PH that is why you are not hitting the best possible speed. Some bands are supported but there are better LTE modems sold in PH that support all frequency of our 2 cellular carrier below:
Smart 4G LTE bands are 1,3,5,28 and 40
Globe 4g LTE bands are 3,7,28,40 and 41
You can easily hit over 100 mbps if your equipment was designed to be used for PH country. Modern LTE routers have carrier aggregation feature that combines frequency bands to get bigger bandwidth. The higher the frequency the higher the bandwidth but the range from tower is shorter. Lower frequencies has lower bandwidth but has wider reach like 700 mhz or band 28 which is the LTE advance.

Theoretically, up to 100m (328ft). You have to think how you protect that against strikes.

Hi, thank you for this video. Im now your newest subscriber. Can I get your advise on this... Im planning to increase the internet signal in my provincial house that is located 500masl that is near Tanay Rizal. I get 1mbps download and .1mbps upload on my mobile using speedtest. I did some research and design solution is to install a MIMO parabolic grid antenna 24dbi and connect it to a Huawei 525 black mamba. However I find it costly without the guarantee that I will get a good internet speed. Can I get your thoughts on this? I have 3 options - 1st is to buy a second hand openline globe or tatoo router and a outdoor antenna that will cost me roughtly 3K, 2nd is to buy MIMO parabolic and Huawei black mamba, 3rd is to buy use this product in this video. All options are good to go but you will need to know what kind of networks do have higher internet speed in that area, after that determine where was the tower you're connected to align your directional antenna, determine what band it is working, and lock your device to that cell tower, moreover see to it that your antenna works on that frequency given by that tower. This is only my process which I knew efficient and effective, personal experience ko I connected my modem 23 km away with 42Mbps download speed, although I was lucky enough that the cell tower releases high power pointing to my area. It is a case to case basis, knowing first how to configure your devices and equipment, it is more rewarding than just to plug and play your units. If you're willing to give in 10k up on that 3rd option, much better since it is all in one device. I repeat I am not an expert in this field, hope you learn from my experience. My 4G is pretty non existent, I get ~0.4 download on 4G, on 3G it's been as high as 14. This was with a cheaper antenna so I suspect you'd get better with this one as long as you have 3G.

Nah nah nah. Look, lets just say u actually used the same servers and did a real test. Any cheap modem would have a difference on band 41 outside vs inside. That thing needs to be pointed directly at the tower or at the point the signal is refracting around something to be of real use. Get it up on the pole , thats the only test that matters.

sir pwede po ba yan dito sa amin ??41 band ang celltower namin. hindi kasi maabot ng wire connection dito, kasi mahina signal. balak ko kasi mag kabit ng piso wifi.
try first to test if it has a higher download speed before concluding to buy this device, as far as I knew, Band 40 and 41 uses Time Domain Duplex Tech which only have one frequency on uplink and downlink kaya mabagal po tlga ang speed.
