Why dont they come precut these waffers and why have different varieties just makes it confusing

Wound & ostomy nurse here! They do make precut options but they really only work for perfectly round stomas. Everyone’s stoma is unique in shape so cutting them helps you achieve a good seal. As well, all people have different skin types which can affect the adhesion. And all brands have different adhesives so some might work great for one patient but awful for the next patient depending on how their skin likes the adhesive. They also have different types of wafers depending on what the patients abdomen looks like (I.e. convex or concave).
