One thing is for sure, Rishi left Britain a healthy economy that did not happen after Gordon Brown left 10 Downing St. He sold some of the Gold reserves. One thing is for sure, Rishi left Britain a healthy economy that did not happen after Gordon Brown left 10 Downing St. He sold some of the Gold reserves. Even after that, the British economy was heavily in debt, and years of austerity followed. Then sadly sometime later, covide 19 kicked in, which became another drain on the economy. Many thanks for your sound economic governance, Rishi. Unfortunately, some people have short memories.
