    I live in Strasbourg and to cross the border you have to cross a bridge so we do have a tramway from Strasbourg to Khel and vice versa . Really nice city to visit !

    Socimi Eurotram is simply amazing. Remember 20 years ago I saw a picture of Eurotram in a magazine and as a kid I was totally mindblown how futuristic and unique the design was. And even more amazing is, even now, when I see Eurotram, it is still the same amazing design as it was 20 years ago. Doesn't get old. Tram producers in 1990's were very creative, trying to come with a perfect low floor model.

    France was leading the way in the revival of the tram as an inner city means of transport 30 years ago. I'm glad this caught on in other countries and still continues to date. Strasbourg's system is one of the best examples of this revival.

    Ich finde es jedes Mal spannend, Videos über diese Tram zu sehen. Wer hätte früher gedacht, dass einmal Strassenbahnen Grenzen überqueren. J'aime beaucoup cette realité dans laquelle chaque 5 minutes on peut prendre le tram et aller á un autre pays. Many places in the world wouldn't even be able to dream about that with all the border checks and all sort of discrimination against those just wanting to cross a border.

    Can someone explain why this tram cab car has two doors and a flat interior? Wheres the extreme boogie?

    • @raichu4516
      @raichu4516 Před 11 měsíci +1

      I don't understand what you mean, Are you talking that there are two cabins on each side and doors on each side? If so, it's because it's more convenient.

    • @aadmannee3928
      @aadmannee3928 Před 9 měsíci

      The only possible answer is that the bogies under the tram cabs are not of the classical type, which would indeed require a higher floor. The sides of the cabs leave enough space for the wheels, so the driver is actually sitting between the wheels and not on top of a bogie.
