1. Lack of potential waifu
2. The story is quite complicated
3. The story is too mature
But I don't think this anime should be underestimated. The story is getting better each episode and the characters are developing every single plot.

What never fails to amaze me about TK's music is how it is so chaotic but has so much harmony at the same time. It is truly incredible, never heard another artist who can pull it off.

アニメの世界観が見事に落とし込まれていて
なおかつOPでこのアニメ見たいと思わせる力がある さすがプロの仕事です
I somehow have a feeling that TK has been going through his transition period in the past two years. Just compare his recent works (I mean those after Katharsis) with his earlier ones, it's not hard to find that there are many new elements added into his lately compositions. This one is rather obvious, the use of chromatic melody, the ingenious modulation, and the scratching sound effect in the interlude are really something, and the chords he uses in this one is more complex than ever.
It is an interesting to ponder over the ingenuity in TK's works. After all, he is a rare composer who composes every song in a very delicate way, and maybe that's why his music always sounds so thrilling.
Btw, the anime itself is also worth watching. It has a well-written plot and a unique metaphor about subconciousness. However, it's a shame for it to be so unpopular, and none of the official platforms in my country is broadcasting it. :/
He is always been experimenting with different elements, every album sounds different, you either love it or hate it. Personally, he was at his peak in "Still a Sigure Virgin" and "I'm perfect" era.

Yes, this is on a-whole-nother level. I can’t even begin to comprehend what’s going on, I just know there’s some weird chords and modulations going on. It feels so raw, it’s the ability to make music like this I seek.
I love his LTS song Neighbormind especially its key modulation is just really delicious!

MV叩いてる人もいるけど、メッセージ性が感じられて歌詞を見ながら色々な解釈ができる分素敵だなと個人的には思う。
演奏はライブ行こ。行けない人がいるのも分かるけど。これはライブで演奏から何から感じたほうが更にエキセントリックな気がする。TKの意向ももちろんあっての仕上がりだろうし。うわ、語ってもうた。

This is arguably the most complex song I've heard. There is complexe chords, key change, the signature TK instruments set, etc. And somehow it works marvelously together. Wow.

The tempo doesn’t actually change at all. The variation in the articulation are what make the rhythm feel like it does.
@@pokechatter I think the tempo does change on certain bars e.g. the little hocket phrase in the beginning (in between refrain lines), and there's no meter change since the song as whole is actually in 4/4 if you're focused on each bars and pulse.

@@pokechatter Supposedly yeah, but it's boring that way. Sometimes we don't necessarily have to stick with the pulse counts anyway, just keep up with the downbeat and enjoy the illusion :-)

I really like how TK shows his songs in very creative way, so ambidextrous and twisted, I never saw something similar in other songs.
His lyrics are so damn beautiful, every song has meaning and from my view he is so unusual from other artists. I really like your band. ;)
i can say that both CoShuNie and EvE are similar to Tk in terms of lyrics and eve is especially unique in how the video plays into the lyrical aspect
