      @@EatSleep360 Hi Rich
      I love how clear and concise you talk as I’m hard of hearing and your videos are straightforward and easy to understand- at least for me and my hearing loss anyway
      I have a question/issue and hope you can help…….
      If money was no object and you didn’t really want a camera for low light videos (but thought it may come in handy one day) which would you choose between the dual 1 inch 360 camera (in this video) or the newly released one X3 ?
      I’m debating between them both and whilst I might not use it at night (the option to use it is always a nice bonus) I know the dual 1 inch has better quality due to the larger sensors but the one X3 has 72mp photos and me mode which looks mad cool
      I don’t want to buy the dual 1 inch version and think “I wish I got the X3” but then again I don’t want to buy the X3 and think “I wish I got the dual 1 inch version”
      What would you do in my situation?
      It’ll mainly be used for outdoors, holidays, some to very little indoor/low light shooting…..
      I’m really stuck between the 1 inch dual 360 and the X3 😔
      Please help….

      @@EatSleep360 Hi, I am at a loss at 2:27. When I get to this screen is does not show Vivid. It automatically shows RAW. I do not see any options for Vivid. The auto is selected in red the same way you show in your video. I have yet to re-format the SD card but I do not feel that this would prevent me from seeing the VIVID icon. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

    How do I get to the icon to switch lenses. This thing is stuck in default selfie mode. Any way to lock it looking forward? Same way with the flag, does that come up automatically or do I push something in settings? I really enjoy your tutorials, by the way. I am also a TV shooter somewhat retired. • @MrHero1976

    Thanks for the tips Rich! What I'm having problems now is the desktop app. I took the micro sd and loaded it into a card reader for my mac mini m1 edition with 16gb of ram and it's super choppy to play back let alone edit the video. Should I connect the camera using the cable straight into the computer to avoid the choppiness? What are the benefits to using the desktop vs the app if I don't plan to use the premiere plug in? I think from what I've watched on youtube that the desktop application lets you export at 4k and up where as the mobile app tops out at 1440p?

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  Před rokem

      It’s probably the 16gb that’s causing the choppy playback. The desktop has hardly any features so just bigger display and 4k output are the benefits. I prefer editing on a desktop but the studio is very very limited unless you just want to reframe.

    • @MrHero1976
      @MrHero1976 Před rokem

      @@EatSleep360 Appreciate the quick reply. I put the card back into the camera and connected to the computer using the cable and in usb drive connected mode. That fixed the problem no more choppy playback. Like you said though not many options at all on the desk top app.

    Thanks for tips! Can you or anyone describe the conditions that would allow for a 1440p export? If I understand the whole 360 situation correctly, it will be directly related to how much I zoom in. Can anyone explain?

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  Před rokem +1

      The most consistent way to get a 1440p export is to edit using stories editor in the app - for some reason this gives you higher resolution export options. I find the app is very inconsistent with export resolution when exporting any other way.

      @@EatSleep360 I should maybe explain my thinking on 1440p and why it concerns me so much. I really find it to be a useful resolution that's a large leap from 1080p but only a short jump from 4k, as far as visual quality to my eyes, and with smaller files than 4k. I could probably live for a few years with 1440p but I would probably always be disappointed with 1080p.

    • @alexgoriatchenkov
      @alexgoriatchenkov Před rokem

      @@markwornom1050 Hello. Not really. In daytime light with 1080p you get nice sharpness results. Light is Everything!!
      I using iPad mini 6 for edit in APP , always in Story upload then in 1440p. Even more; in final edit in third party program (I use CapCut) you can finally import in 4K.

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  Před rokem

      They don’t want to encourage bulletime so didn’t include it. You can shoot in 3k at 100 fps and then just reframe it yourself in the app or use deeptrack - this is how I did it

  • @digital.frenchy
    @digital.frenchy Před rokem +1

    I kinda disagree that you have to use a shutter speed of 100/120 in low light. In my experience as long as you don't move too fast it doesn't blur the image and of course you got more light entering your sensor. Actually i shoot at like 50/sec at 24fps oooor even 30fps and it works fine depends on the situation i guess. You wanna keep the ISO as low as possible so...

    • @EatSleep360
      @EatSleep360  Před rokem
