It’s my second time in Japan and I’m so excited to share with you this trip in partnership with the Japan National Tourism Organization in Canada! We explored the Chubu region and discovered so many hidden gems I think you guys would love!
Here was my itinerary for this 10 day long trip:
Day 1 and 2 - Tokyo
Day 3 - Kanazawa
Day 4 and 5 - Toyama
Day 6 - Fukui
Day 7 - Kyoto (would recommend going for 2-3 days!)
Day 8 to 10 - back in Tokyo
We went to both Shirakawago and Kurobe from Toyama but you can also go from Kanazawa :) both are recommended to be booked in advance which you can do via their website! I would definitely spend more time in Kyoto next time as it was such a lovely city with amazing food!

Hi! Last time I stayed in Asakusa and we loved that area! Very close to shibuya and has good food around :) if not Ueno i a really busy area that’s well connected too although a bit further from Shibuya and such :)
