Solid drumming!!! I know the guy from this band called "Bleed the Sky". I only heard one song from them (minion) and i remember how the drums blew my mind. He is very creative and has a unique sense of groove imo.
@mafr0o Triggers bring out the bass drum loads in videos like this, and coming from someone who plays in a band who often don't get a chance to soundcheck/don't have separate mics for top end and low end, triggers are an easy solution and offer a good live drum sound through even the shittiest of PA systems. I'm actually a guitarist, not a drummer, but what I will say is that playing live when our drummer has triggers makes keeping it tight so much easier because you can hear clearly.

I just realised this comment was 7 years ago, but I too am a metal drummer. It's quite common when drumming at these speeds to hit your knuckles off of the rims or the edge of your cymbals, this is most likely the reason he is bleeding. I've done this myself many times
Andols was way better for them. This guy is not bad, just nothing special to me. I grew up on this band. and this is one of the songs that was written with Kevin Talley, and he's a lot better then this guy for Chimaira too i think. But props for the bloody hand and keeping it up. :)
