[SFM/FNAF] Rise Above It Short (Challenge)

- Welp, we had a repeat of last year where I was gone for about 4 months again, so first off I'm sorry for that. But hey, I'm not dead!
I won't lie when I say I was quite lazy the first two months of this year, I wanted to make animations again but at the same time I was limited by unmotivation and sch00l, but at the end of February I got sick of not doing anything and wanted to make a change this month, and even though the month's already almost over, I atleast managed to get an animation out. Hopefully I can make a few more over the next few weeks.
Anyways, on to the not boring stuff, here's my "entry" for Jonlanty's Rise Above It Challenge. I probably spent way too long on this considering it took me about two weeks to animate not even 30 seconds, but at the same time I haven't really animated for a few months up to this point, so maybe that was necessary. But yeah, I don't really know how to feel about this one if I'm being honest, part of me feels happy with how this came out while part of me doesn't; regardless though, I hope you guys enjoy this animation and again I'm truly sorry for the huge unannounced break, I don't think one short can make up for it, but I'll try to keep working on stuff over the next few weeks.(considering I have to stay in my home now because of that hecking virus) So ye, thank you all who have waited for me to come back and stay safe! :)
Also the Fredbear and Springbonnie shots were animated in Blender, so technically this isn't 100% SFM, please don't kill me lol.

Phone Guy - "Hello, hello? Uh, I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night. Um, I actually worked in that office before you. I'm finishing up my last week now, as a matter of fact. So, I know it can be a bit overwhelming, but I'm here to tell you there's nothing to worry about. Uh, you'll do fine. So, let's just focus on getting you through your first week. Okay?
Uh, let's see, first there's an introductory greeting from the company that I'm supposed to read. Uh, it's kind of a legal thing, you know. Um, "Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. A magical place for kids and grown-ups alike, where fantasy and fun come to life. Fazbear Entertainment is not responsible for damage to property or person. Upon discovering that damage or death has occurred, a missing person report will be filed within 90 days, or as soon property and premises have been thoroughly cleaned and bleached, and the carpets have been replaced."
Blah blah blah, now that might sound bad, I know, but there's really nothing to worry about. Uh, the animatronic characters here do get a bit quirky at night, but do I blame them? No. If I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for twenty years and I never got a bath? I'd probably be a bit irritable at night too. So, remember, these characters hold a special place in the hearts of children and we need to show them a little respect, right? Okay.
So, just be aware, the characters do tend to wander a bit. Uh, they're left in some kind of free roaming mode at night. Uh...Something about their servos locking up if they get turned off for too long. Uh, they used to be allowed to walk around during the day too. But then there was The Bite of '87. Yeah. I-It's amazing that the human body can live without the frontal lobe, you know?
Uh, now concerning your safety, the only real risk to you as a night watchman here, if any, is the fact that these characters, uh, if they happen to see you after hours probably won't recognize you as a person. They'll p-most likely see you as a metal endoskeleton without its costume on. Now since that's against the rules here at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, they'll probably try to...forcefully stuff you inside a Freddy Fazbear suit. Um, now, that wouldn't be so bad if the suits themselves weren't filled with crossbeams, wires, and animatronic devices, especially around the facial area. So, you could imagine how having your head forcefully pressed inside one of those could cause a bit of discomfort...and death. Uh, the only parts of you that would likely see the light of day again would be your eyeballs and teeth when they pop out the front of the mask, heh.
Y-Yeah, they don't tell you these things when you sign up. But hey, first day should be a breeze. I'll chat with you tomorrow. Uh, check those cameras, and remember to close the doors only if absolutely necessary. Gotta conserve power. Alright, good night."

Mr. Magiko Thanks for welcoming me back! I’ve been doing quite good, thanks for asking, I was mainly gone due to being busy with school and other real life stuff as well as a lack of motivation for animating, but now I’m pretty sure it’s come back as I enjoy making animations again.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! :) I've tried to port them myself but it only resulted in SFM crashing whenever I tried to spawn them in, and I don't want to force someone to go through 2-3 days of pain just to port two inaccurate models over, so I think I'm just going to release them for Blender and if any porters want to help to get them into SFM I'll try to work with them to make it happen.
Mr. Clay1983 i would port them. Are they high poly? That can be the problem.

I can't believe CZcams only recommended me this astonishing animation 3 days after you released it Mr. Clay. I gotta be honest with you here for a second, from all the animations for "Rise it Above" I saw, this one is in my Top 3 favorite because of how the visuals look, the concepts that were shown and so much more that made this piece unique. But let's not waste anymore of your time and allow me to inspire you with this comment:
📌As I said before, this animation is rich in concept and ideas that diverge from the original animation and I loved it. Some of those ideas included the fact that W.Golden Freddy was switching from purple to black to resemble he is FredBear or the fact you added scenes with the SpringLock suits that blended nicely with the ambience of this.
📌Then we come to the lights and overall I think you did a marvelous job in it if I have to be frank with you. The each collection of lights fitted perfectly with their scene and all together it created an immersive experience- like we were inside the animation, you know.
📌And we go to the movements and effects. Mr. Clay, these movements are incridble and dynamic. Seriously, they were so well made and really blended with the pace of the music- not to say how wonderful the effects and edition you added that made this masterpiece even more gorgeous to watch.
And we end this comment on a really positive note. You have a lot of potencial in you Mr. Clay, you really do- just look at what you did here. You should feel proud of yourself! Please continue with more of this delightful content in the future, if possible!

..So I have a question about the motion blur. How in the literal HELL do you make the motion blur look like something from Derpy_Horse 4? Is it just, no motion blur and it is tricking my eyes or is it rendered to where it looks like there is barely any? I've been tryin to see how by using Camera Settings but I'm not sure about it. Could I get some feedback?
To simplify my question, what are your render settings for Progressive Refinement? Just asking, I'm not good at making good renders.
Miles11 D11 Ye I know how you feel I had no idea how he managed to make his motion blur look the way it does until recently. I’m pretty sure what you have to do is when you’re getting ready to render, go to “more options” and go to your layoff settings. There’s two things I usually do, one I just started doing with this animation, and that is adjusting the shutter speed. I recommend turning down the shutter speed a bit (mine’s at “0.013”) and the motion blur should look like it was turned down like you see in this video. I also render at a higher frame rate as well (60fps), which you can also control in the layoff settings, but I don’t think that’s exactly necessary for making the motion blur look reduced. Also just in case, I use 64 samples for motion blur in the camera settings, I don’t think that matters either but maybe I’m wrong. So in conclusion, instead of messing with the camera settings, you have to go to the lay-off settings before rendering a movie and edit those two things. Hope this helps.

A Stupid Face. I can see where you’re coming from. For the record I originally didn’t even want to do this challenge because I thought it was just an excuse for people to be unoriginal, but after the second one came out I decided I wanted to do it because I just thought it’d be a fun and interesting thing to do. I personally find it neat seeing everyone’s takes on it, even if it is rather repetitive, but if you don’t then that’s completely fine. This is the only time I have and probably will do something like this, sorry if it came off as annoying.
