Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut these theories would make a better story line than damsel in distress, if I was peach I would just start having tea with Bowser.

The thing is Mario was around longer than Luigi. So there's a very good chance Luigi didn't know about how his own bro abused DK. Luigi was a baby when the yoshis saved them so they couldn't really rememder that so that just added on to the pain. Luigi would go into places he's not comfortable with in the slytested just for his bro to be safe. Now just thinking about Mr.L this is a stretch but this abuse and pain could help Mr.L's personality. If you don't know who Mr. L Is please watch someone play paper mario

Actually, his own timeline contradicts it, yet solves itself. In another video he made after the fact, he lists off the donkey Kong series plumber as Mario’s dad. This would be a deal breaker, unless Mario AND Jumpman both had a mental disorder, and seeing the Jumpman was supposedly sick in the head, then Mario would most likely be at a higher chance to get whatever he had. A little tweak, but it still stands.
He could’ve also been nurtured that way by watching his father do his thing, and assumed it was ok.
