Tackling the Beaver Dam - A 9 part video

Beavers control our lake level. They have built up a dam that has increased lake levels to well above historical norms, causing flooding and property damage. It would be illegal to remove the dam but as the dam is on our property, it is lawful to physically adjust the height of the dam to retain historical water levels on the lake. Our cottage association has agreed to install culverts with a BeaverCone, likely at the site of the first video clip, that will hopefully reduce the frequency of this manual labour.
This video combines nine short video clips over a two weeks to demonstrate what is involved with physically adjusting the dam.
It is very unusual to see beavers during the day, as they usually hide at the first sight of humans. But this time, they showed no fear in their determination to rebuild.
