OMG FOR 30 mins I forgot all about that I am laying in this hospital bed in so much pain wishing I was dead. To my teeth chattering from PURE overwhelming adrenaline rush!! NOT EVER HAPPEN ON MY LIFE! Thank you for that. I do not know what to say more than that. God Bless

"This whole things just smells like craft beer." -My Girlfriend.
Thatâs a funny insight. But I assure you any beer would do haha
@@Levi_Allen Oh hell yeah! Make no mistake, this was awesome to watch, and now we're getting slacklines, and beer!
More like "Hold my craft beer"
Spot on
Your girlfriend is pretty damn funny. đ
You couldnât measure how much I donât want to do this
totally get that,,,,at the same time ...I kind of want to try it now...
Come out to Utah,Texas, or Oregon!
Lower the height to about 15 feet above water and Iâm sure it would be fun. But thatâs probably how these maniacs started.
This is insane. I thought climbing could be dangerous, but Jesus this is itâs own animal.
Hilarious! (and I agree 100%)
I'll stick to gardening.
Sounds kind of dangerous...
Try free solo naked gardening , itâs exhilarating đ
I have tremendous respect for you Spencer! Youâre not taking a risk blindly, you didnât succumb to any peer pressure, this was YOUR CHOICE and you did this for YOU. You trained and trained and trained and showed the world what you could do - and you had the most fun of your life doing it!! Having the freedom to take risks like this comes with an honest understanding each individualâs personal abilities and most importantly a full acceptance of personal responsibility for the risks involved should the worst ever happen (which thank God it didnât in Spencerâs case!) Iâm sure the VERY LAST THING that Spencer would want is for the sport he loves to be shut down if he got hurt or killed. Not having the freedom to take the risks you fully accept in life is not a free life at all is itâŠ...
The cinematography is spectacular. Well done.
I'm surprised no birds came to try and mate with him while he was making those noises
I laughed so hard. So true
It's cause birds aren't real
It'd be such a weird birds too..

I know nothing about slacklining but watching this motivated me to face my own fears and do what I want to do despite them. What an inspiration you are guys!!!
Free solo skydiving??
I heard that used to be popular at the Apple factory in China.
Already been done. | czcams.com/video/6qF_fzEI4wU/video.html
lol really?
its been done at least twice already, once with a net and once with a stack of cardboard boxes.
@@masvindu oooooo wow
The amount of injuries I sustained 3 feet off the ground doing this on Sundays in Ciudad del RĂo in MedellĂn makes me respect this dude even more.
Me voy a MDE despues de la navidad, tengo que visitar esa ciudad del Rio. Tambien es un sitio bueno para apprender el parapente.
At that night, there are no injuries.
Just run another line above you until you get stable. So easy and safe. If you're unstable you're unpracticed and need more time. Not worrying about falling will hugely help your progress. Then you can focus just on your balance, where your attention should be.
Thanks for making this accessible to the world! Crazy skill....both on and off the slackline. Well done Levi and Spencer!
Over the course of his entire walk, I crapped myself 6.3 times.
After doing my first Highline at 200 meters height I thought I would never do it again, cause it gave me feelings I had never felt before (both positive & terrifying). But man, after watching this documentary I can't wait to train more and more and more, and get back on that highline again. Great job & fantastic documentary! Keep up the amazing work!
How did it go??
Still one of the best intros ever. Every time I hear it I get the chills. Glad to see I can go back to spamming my friends and family to watch it.
That shot of Spencer at the middle of the line around 25:40 is one of the most amazing things I've seen.
This! đđđœ
Totally !
And also the entire time he was on it
free solo of elcap is the real deal, none of these guys could even think about a 4 hour free solo of a 3k ft wall. this is insane for sure but think about 4 hours with no rope to catch if you slip? the difference is alex honnold had no rope to catch if he slipped. if he was not perfect thats that
@@truther2289 why do you feel the need to compare 2 completely different activities, that one of both is better and more extreme then the other. Like yea El cap free solo CLIMBING is very interesting but this is a highline video
This is the Canadian dream.. living as minimal as possible so you can do what you love and follow your soul where ever it takes you
Absolutely magical the way this made me feel.. This video just straight up lifted me out of depression..
Greggy D heck yeah man, find what moves you and get to it!!
Same here bro!
This is fucking incredible. The quality of filming here is absolutely insane. I remember subbing to you when you had 1200 subscribers and watching your vlogs when you were making videos about your sprinter van . I've been waiting to watch this completed film for so long and it passed any expectation I had of it. Thank you for producing such a crazy movie.
i remember watching this documentary years ago and I loved it. Now i had the chance to watch it again, loved it even more. Thank you for pushing the limits of the imaginable. Pure inspiration
as a slackliner & more importantly a studying to be a filmmaker, this was quite perfect. loved how pure and hopeful it was !! amazing work dude
dude, give you much respect. you need to enter this to film festival
such incredible framing/shots, coloring, storyline....this is a beautiful piece of art levi. thank you for sharing.
Wooten! I know right! One of my favorites is when he's free soloing towards the camera, and you can see his body flex with each adjustment, and see his chest and stomach controlling his breath! So cool.
I've never been more interested in seeing a shirtless man in my life.
(As a straight guy, I never thought I'd say that. Ever. Lol)
But seriously, this documentary is a work of art! That drone pilot deserves a huge raise!
@@DanteYewToob oh so true! What an eloquent & on point comment

Saw that this video was 30 minutes long and figured I'd only watch a bit but dang was it so well made. Such an interesting and well crafted video about a amazing topic. Love it, Levi!
An extraordinary athlete. The ultimate demonstration (along with free soloing) of overcoming our psychological barriers. A brilliant insight into an amazing man.
how did this sport even occur to the human mind
Stupid as hell
The search for balance and focus. It's pretty pure I instantly got that feeling when watching them.
@@JazzyFunkaHolic yeah mate itâs feels like active meditation

Absolutely incredible video, I felt so much of the joy these guys share through this sport, I can only imagine the buzz you get when you're there and experiencing it in person. Fantastic video, and fantastic people. Well done Levi, you absolutely killed it with this.
My dude Levi. You are absolutely insane. Thank you for being the difference in this community & being YOU. YOU are dope my dude. MUCH LOVE. GREAT THINGS AHEAD
Absolutely epic. You did a great job of capturing these peoples passion
"There are so many different professions, so many different people there. But when we are together you wouldn't know we are all different, we are all the same people."
So good. That backing up drone shot with all the people walking lines đđ»đđ»
Such an incredible shot!!
I'm not even 10 minutes into the documentary, and I've fallen in love with slackline due to the epic cinematography. This gives me extra motivation to get back into shape.
Meh...pretty average tbh

20:12 "When I need to catch I'm a hundred percent"
Me: well you're still alive so I don't doubt it.
Interviewer: âAnd where do you see yourself taking this once you have mastered free solo slacklining?
Spencer: âWalking it without the slackline.â
Talk about setting the mood quickly. That opening scene going over the waterfall is absolutely incredible. Amazing footage.
Stoked that you've put this out for free :) thanks man! And congratulations on 100k
It's amazing, when I see the thumbnail of your videos, I feel excited because I know I'm going to be overwhelmed and inspired enormously. Thank you. Cheers from MĂ©xico Levi.
Mimo Reque YES! Levi is insanely talented and gifted.
That must be so dangerous without a safety helmet!
Tbh i thought about that but at that height a helmet really won't do much
Or a mouthpiece
If he wore a cup, that would suffice
Hilarious!! đ And not a shirt! What was he thinkingđ
đđđđ
Even the waterline gives me the chills like, everytime you fall off you're simulating a death. Must push your mind harder and harder to achieve the full walk.
Thanks Levi for sharing this amazing story! Great job with the doc.
Levi, you're a legend. Thanks for bringing us this beautiful footage
I love watching him in pure ecstasy when he makes it to the other side. So cool to see the moment someone does something truly special and their reaction as their brain floods with pure bliss.
I have been slacking in the back yard for 2 years on and off, always with the dream of soloing highlines. But when I watched this video, it set the fire in me and I've not stopped pushing myself. I'll be seeing you guys on the chief next August! Much love and fucking thank you for the pure inspiration!! Forever grateful to you all!
Did you make it?

Everything about this is AMAZING! Well done Levi!!
What a great movie Levi!!! Incredible cinematography and you really captured the energy and tension. Lovely editing, I can only imagine how many hours and hard word went it to the film... Thank you and keep up the good work!
Mind blowing!! So inspiring I am going to go rig my kids up a line in the yard. This is an awesome and beautiful film, my heart was in my throat so many times but I could not look away.
This is awesome Levi. Stoked for it all. Quite the vid my man. Will never get old this.
The part a 24:50 is the best, just breathing sounds (no music), clean drone shots and him doing this extreme line.
Yeah, I was so glad there was no music. It completely preserved the intensity of the moment
Yes. Great choice by the crew. Thanks for doing it that way
Nathan Sloan but all the music otherwise fit perfectly :)

Good god, Levi. I've seen lots of these shots in your other work, but seeing them in the context where they were created was outstanding. This was fantastic.
One question, is Spencer still having to lay concrete? If so, that's a crime.
Also, want to give you the grandest of congratulations for making it to 100k subs. You've got my favorite channel on CZcams and I hope you make it MUCH farther.

Some of the wisest words ever spoken. Replace "soloing" with and have a good day.
lol
@William Wakefield Try replacing it with killing and eating midgets.
OK: "I haven't formulated my opinion of STEALING, and I think the important thing is that my opinion doesn't matter - because STEALING is such a personal endeavor that whatever anyone else says, the person is gonna do it."

Slack liners just look like party people in slow motion.
Throw yo hands up in the air! Wave them like you're about to fall 260 meters to your death and just don't cayyur! Woot!
They all do this weird technic when balancing, they wave their arms over their heads, it's really odd looking....I think they all do it to copy the leader who does it
