I have a TH350 rebuilt but here is my problem. I pill tires of the line but it does not sounds like it upshifts. When I press pedal while running it goes blank. What Stall are you using if you don't mind. Any other tips?
th350 up shifting needs to have the vacuum line hooked up to the engine to work. if that dont work, its prolly something internally wrong inside your transmission.
@@jappsautomotive4210 4l80 are stronger than 4l60 but they are heavier in weight and smaller first gear than the 60. Its basically a th400 but electronic and with a 4th gear

Client didnt opt for it. He just manual downshifts his ratchet race shifter. Think it was a B&M if i can remember. It was ratchet action tho. Chrome. Trans upshifts like normal with the vacuum regulator
It's an old school TH350 3 speed auto. It controls itself. Just needs a small vacuum hose and also allows you to choose to manually shift or just leave it in D
Ls3 will definitely fit....i recommend keeping the ls3 as original as possible. Injectors and intake. Truck or car. Cuz they dont mix and match with an lq4 or 9. Those are gen 3 ls engines and a ls3 is a gen 4. The 4l60e will work but i would keep it simple and use the 99 -2005 pcm

I couldve thrown a manual transmission pcm on it. Wouldve worked the same. But it has a 4l60e pcm in case he ever wanted to go that route it would be just plug and play. I just taped the transmission wiring away.
Kickdown cables are optional on th350 and 400. Just downshift to 2nd when u wanna pass someone then go back to 3rd. Tv cable is a must have for 700r4 or instant burn up

Would you recommend buying a truck with a 4l60e or with the th350, 5.3L
Th350 is stronger at the drag strip but a gas guzzler. I like the 4l60es for fuel economy and they hold up to a good 450hp

How did tune for the 350 transmission
It just needs a vacuum source. Manually shift for racing. Or leave it in Drive and the vacuum makes it shift. No electronics. Just tuned engine only.
