Played the beta, found it fun. More than CoD. Once CoD started focusing on Warzone, it lost me. Not a big BR guy because I find them boring, no matter if it’s Fortnite, Apex, or Warzone. Only downsides I found with XDefiant was the gunplay (shots weren’t landing what felt like a quarter of the time) and that you only had one grenade per life. Don’t know how to fix the gunplay because I’m not a dev. As far as the grenades go, tie them to kills. Such as if you get 3 to 4 kills, it replenishes your grenade.
10000% agree with you. Warzone killed any aspect of multiplayer there was. It’s now a game of “I gotta rank this up for Warzone” aspect.. along with seasonal prestige’s as well because once you hit max there isn’t any grind (except for challenges realistically). The gunplay did feel a little off but I know with time that will be fixed. Devs seem A LOT better than Activision. Grenades yeah I can see that would be a clever way. Who ever enjoys FPS Arena shooters needs a new one too enjoy. And hopefully XDefiant will be that one 🤞🏻
The attachment leveling/unlocking system in xdefiant is exactly how it was in previous cods anyway, exactly that's how I like it. I just miss the pre-MW2019 era of cods and xdefiant is about as close to that as we've got in a modern game. I really hope it succeeds.
Warzone isn’t needed. I was also mad about sbmm but I’m improving with tougher opponents. Sometimes it’s overwhelming and I leave the game but that’s how it is. I’ve made lots of people leave the game too. 🤷🏽♂️

The problem of SBMM is not that it put you against same skill level, it’s not that the issue. The issue is when you are a 1.5/2kd player it balance you team accordingly… as the pool of hi skill it’s not that good. So for example in a team you have 6 1kd players and the other group have 1 2kd and the rest is between 0.5 and 0.7 so that you are supposed to carry the team. And this make the experience miserable
I agree with this. SBMM is not needed in a Classic Arena Shooter. If you wanna have fun, you should be able too. PING Based lobbies will be the best bet. No lag/stutter… just smooth gameplay. And I feel that’s been a huge lack in the gaming community recently especially with everything involving money/store bundles and so on.
For me ideally to completely remove it wouldn’t make sense, they should have it for the “new comers” like a 80h of “grace” and than put a non strict one where ping is king.
@@Arutek yeah I side with you on that. Like a little SBMM isn’t bad. Every game has it. But when you feel like you’re playing a 10k tournament in a public match, that stuff I’m not a fan of. So going with the ping banded lobbies is going to be a W overall. 🙏🏻

Paid actor… I have 322 subscribers, how would I be paid.. it’s my personal thoughts. And other then camo grinding which people like to do within the first week. What is there left? I am not saying there is gonna be a massive grind for XDefiant, but it’s a different grind in comparison too CoDs “gonna rank this up for warzone” feel.
I played the beta of this and I'm a cod player probably like everyone watching this video lol , I'll be honest I did not like it felt slow and clunky and the guns felt like pea shooter's, I'll give it another try on full release, even though cod is bad atm with cheats and hacks I can still move very fast and have insane ttk builds , idk if if this will do well, I will try it again though.
@@ItsSKOUTiD you are comparing a game with resurgence , BR , Plunder , minimaps , etc with a game who just got minimaps. Im not a great MW3 fan but i tested several times Xdefiant and its a funny little game , but it will die in a short time.

But this game has A LOT of potential with the play style, gameplay mechanics and overall good communication from the devs. Everything CoD has seemed too lack recently. The devs are slowly destroying this game and it’s not the same as it used to be for the major reason everything revolves around Warzone. So for XDefiant, the hope for a good 6v6 arcade shooter would be great 🫡
Liability!!! I just hate opening CoD and there an +/-40GB update to do before you can launch the game than after you launch, it needs to restart... so if you wanted to play for 1 hour, you just lost 45min for update and restart and etc... so hope CoD gets better at these updates or do something about the size of these updates!!!
YES. It’s so frustrating… not even that but just lack of preloading. It’s not a big deal. So what if stuff gets “leaked” we’re in 2024 everyone is gonna find everything out. And on top of it, we wait that long BUT YET there is still glitches (AKA Reloading Glitch) and lack of communication by “next week”… they are losing there stride and it happens with every game 😔
Call of duty has search and destroy.. I only play search and destroy.. until ex defiant adds search and destroy I'll be playing cod... Search and destroy.

@@mzerv00I don’t think they will. The old head director of call of duty is on this one and he was a part of the biggest quick scoping era. But that is a lot of fun for anyone who likes too do it and will be a huge loss so I understand where your coming from!

I know, and hoping it brings some life back into classic fps shooters. Not having everything revolve around a battle royal.

Comparing a complete game with several modes to Xdefiant could only be done by someone completely crazy.
How does that make me crazy? There both FPS Shooters. People compare games all the time. And I’m specifically comparing one FPS Shooter to another.

Just annoying that xdef isnt coming to last gen consoles.
