Saw this dirt bike and ATV issues in Hartford on CT 61news. I live in Taftville and bikers here are doing wheelies on our streets! My son was driving home from work the other night and a wheelie biker almost ran into him. So dangerous and scary!
Won't shed a tear over this guys death. Stupidity needs to be rewarded like this, that will send a message. And why would the city destroy perfectly working ATV's to "send a message"? Because that message won't be received by those who u think you're sending it to. For example, a Yamaha quad isn't the problem, it's the idiots who misuse them on purpose.
The best thing about dirt bikes is they are fun off road away from all the cages. Nothing better on 2 wheels than to tackle a wooded trail and crossing mountain streams away from all the congested roads.
@@je7647 Some towns with trails nearby allow them on road. Back country roads aren't usually a problem around me but knobby tires don't wear good on pavement.
Hell the bikes recovered that dont go to another owner, should be given to people who bikes have been stolen so they have something to ride, the reason they got it in the first place.

A neighboring township where i live has instituted a zero tolerance policy they track them by drone and confiscate them issue fines and if they are under 18 they hold the parents responsible for all fines and fees

He was an adult who knew it was illegal to steal a dirt bike, ride that dirt bike on city streets,and ride that bike recklessly. You have more regard for his life than he had for his own and the safety of others.
