I’m from Ondo State but grew up in PH. The Ikwerre people i met were very accommodating to my parents. There was a time when money was tight and my landlord who is from Obio Akpor delayed our rent until we could get back on our feet. If not for that family, I would not be where I am today. I really enjoyed this display . Carry dey go my sister . Ikwerre bu o tu
❤❤❤
Proudly an ikwerrian...
Nice voice , kudos. Am still watching this after so many years
I love this song ,I'm south African but crazy in love with naija music
This song makes me to remember hometown ikwerre for life
Leave am Ikwerre language is so soothing. An Igbo girl but portharcourt babe by association
Hahaha. Thank you
Sweet music! Talented artist. I can listen to her sweet voice all day! Praise the Lord!
I am proud to an Ikwerre guy.. Best song of the year 🎵
I'm Igbo, grew up in portharcort, love ikwere's.
Please those ikwerre don't love you. They hate you. You better reject the people that rejects you
@Reality Stand i understand you completely. You need not go a further. A simple Google check about the Ikweree people will lead to straight up to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is the repository of the world's heritage, its culture and people. Wikipedia defines them clearly as an 'Igbo group' no ambiguity about that. I know they're part of the larger igbo groups they only deny that for political reasons. I have told any Ikweree man i see that if you are completely sure that the knowledge Wikipedia has about the Ikweree people is incorrect, 'Ogbakor Ikweree' should sue Wikipedia and claim legal damages. But they have not done it, in fact, they dare not try it because they know deeply in their hearts it's the truth Wikipedia stored in its database.
That's why I call them a confused group of people denying your heritage just because of some political reasons you wanna benefit from. My brother, these Ikweree people have been bred to hate us, you better learn to return the hate with equal measures. You only do brotherly love with people who identify with us like the Anioma people and Asaba people in Delta. I'll rather call a yoruba man my brother than an Ikweree man. You clearly don't know how hateful these guys are towards us. I'm just 😂 laughing diplomatic attempts towards them.
@@stefananetoh475 You sound foolish, and you are obviously hate baiting. It’s obvious you have had what issues with Ikwerre and now want to make everyone hate Ikwerre. Don’t try and group a a whole people singular occurrence. A beg
@@stefananetoh475 you’re Just pained and your comment is wack Just so you know😂

Don't worry she'll sing in Benin dialect. We must remove all traces of igbo in the song. 😂
I don dance tireoooooo ehhhhhhhhh wowwwww awesome more inspiration more grace Amennnnn 🙏🙏🙏
Amen!!! God is good....
First, this is a lovely song. I love it. Second the Ikwerre dialect used in this song must be PH or from around it? Because it is so easy to understand to the average Igbo speaker. Third, just like other Igbo dialects, you could see the influence of Igbo Izugbe on the general flow of the dialect used, especially at 1:22 where she says Chiokike nna (instead of the usual Chiokike nda in Ikwerre) and Eze zi n'eluigwe (rather than oluigwe in Ikwerre) at 1:25.
Please leave those Ikwerre. According to them, they say they are from Benin. They reject being associated with the central igbos. Those ikwerres can be diabolical

Ikwerre is an Igbo sub-group just like the Aro, Ika, Abiriba, etc. We are all family.
Iwhuruoha is never igbo... Stop the lies
@@dikechukunda6342 , actually I am Ikeduru, the song is very intelligible to me and further, it reminded me of certain manner of greetings back in my village long ago. But then, you are Ikwere and you should know better

nice one silver, keep it up!
thanks lovelies
Ikwerre is great, their language is quite intelligible with Ibo, it sounds more Igbo than many Igbo dialects like Abakaliki. God bless Biafra
Ikwerre is our language and it's spoken in 4 local Government areas in rivers state. We have our dialects also.
@@JamIMO apparently you didn't understand my statement. I am telling you that the dude you and I responded to is ignorant
@@kwazylele805 oh sorry man. Comment deleted
@@JamIMO if your dialect is similar to the central speaking igbos. That makes you an igbo group. If you choose to reject it, please take a chisco bus to Benin and go learn their language since that's where you resurrected from. To the ears of the entire world, what that lady sang is purely igbo. No matter of denial can change that
It’s just a dialect just like Ngwa, Oka, Aro, Ika, Ezza, etc. And even those dialects have differences depending on the clans / villages. I understand Ikwerre dialect more compared to dialects in Ebonyi state so how can it be a language? It’s Igbo. No mind the brainwashed idiots

congratulations then... but leave us alone. thanks.
God punish you, prove your ikkwere identity. idiot
chimburuoma Nath Abraham You are really a moron. More like you should leave our language, names and culture alone if you are not Igbo. How dumb can u be? Anyway Shaa Igbo names, culture and language are so attractive and appetizing that even those who hate Igbos can’t help but help but copy all of them. You really don’t have any choice. Pathetic

This is ijaw culture the dressing. Maybe ikwere are mixed with ijaw migrants
What language is this
Ikwerre but if you understand Igbo you’ll understand Ikwerre as an Igboid language linguistically. I’m Igbo, roots closer to Rivers and Anambra, and I understood all of these songs sung in Ikwerre.
Generally no matter what part of Ikwerre, if you can understand Igbo and Ijaw you can understand Ikwerre
czcams.com/video/Qf3m-YJYDb4/video.html
for political expedience they denied their tribe
Oriaku Michael I’m yet to see what they have even gained. I was even surprised to see their former Governor Chubuike Amaechi now forcefully asserting his Igbo identity.
Oriaku Michael u lack knowledge we are not igbo nd can never be igbo
