It happened in a village near Central Greece .
Most of the stray animals have food and water but when it comes to medical care people always reach for us .
We are always there to help any animal in need .
This poor girl suffered under the hot sun ,in pain, after the accident she had .
That really broke my heart.
She spent weeks with treatments in hospital and we weren't sure if she will make it to walk again. She was paralyzed for weeks . She is such a brave young dog and we are so happy to see her walking again.
From now on she will be in safe place, with love, food ,water . It is not safe to be around other dogs, to play with dogs but cats and chickens will be her friends . She will have a good and safe life .

my suggestion is meant to help and not be critical, ermioni. " rolling " the dog on the ground might help in a situation such as this, where you find a dog near a road, possibly with spinal injuries. you raise the dog's paws up in the air together and all four at the same time, so that he has the top of his back touching the ground. then you can slide a surface, preferably a thin wooden or hard plastic board under him. when you lower his paws back to the ground, you will now have a stable surface under him to support his spine. the rolling maneuver is often the best you can do in the field to keep the spine from further injury.
I'd go to Greece and marry Ermioni Anytime! What a wonderful woman...

I have a similar situation. I saw a female dog by the roadside hit by a car or motorcycle. It was almost 12 noon and very hot since I live in the Philippines which is in the tropics. No one cared on the dog in spite there were lots of people nearby. Fortunately, where I found her was just a walking distance from where I live. I took her home first, then I brought her to the vet by that afternoon. Her hind legs were paralysed due to spinal injury. I adopted her. Although she still can't walk properly but at least, she can stand on her 4 feet.

I'll never understand how people can just pass/drive by without helping an animal. If nothing else, just call a rescue organization like the lady who notified DAR did, ffs!

She's a beautiful dog. She's really out of it from the accident and heat. It helps that she has remained so calm despite her condition. Thank you for rescuing her. She could have been out there for days if not for to you. Getting a good home will definitely be a step up for her.

@@chainamarie03 I have brought it up for years, but they are all used to being jumbled up close together, in towns - I think they just see that as normal.
Unless they build their own, on outskirts of town, they don't seem to register what risks they take, how much harder to carry animals...
I imagine the best they could do is put in a goods lift - because a proper human lift which would take animals, is horrendously expensive and I think you have to pay big money for safety inspections and servicing,with people lifts. They could even set up a manual, informal lift for animals, but as it is, that clinic is squeezed for space, now. I don't think they could spare a 2 metre square lift space on both floors.
Sad thing is, you put up with that sort of thing, until there is a nasty fall. It kills me, every time I see them going up, and ESPECIALLY going down, carrying things.

Plush bears rescue in normal internet. Was plushbears4824 channel but yt banned it. They rescue dogs from dogmeat markets in China. They really need subscribers and viewers and likes, etc. They send dogs to UK and USA, for adoption.
