From City Island to Execution Lighthouse - Bronx, NY

Long Island Sound lies off the eastern coast of the Bronx, New York. Here we feature some of the surrounding waters of City Island, High Island, Rat Island, High Island and the Execution Rocks Lighthouse.
The Execution Rocks Lighthouse sits in Long Island Sound on the border between New Rochelle and Sands Point, New York. 55 feet (17 m) tall, with a white light flashing every 10 seconds, the tower is white with a brown band. The attached stone keeper's house is not inhabited. The light was automated in 1979.
