Aside eyeballing it, when placing Baron estimated that 4 will be more likely to be optimal, and just felt natural to place 4. I think so, because I felt guts told me in this silent voice "one more, one more..". So it probably just felt natural to place 4 of them :)

Getting a satellite in their main room is amazing as you can see what they recruit.

The little base you defend is like a vanguard into that room, so if you successfully defend it it gives you a foothold in the room. That's the reasoning behind defending when you are attacking and attacking when you are defending.
Baron. About the "Having to defend, when you are attacking", The dev said, it would make things a lot easier. Defending your base is not as difficult as destroying the enemy one. I think they also said it would be somewhat reasonable, as you have to establish a base in that room, before you can proceed with your invasion. Not sure on that second one, though.

to make it clear: when you encroach on bug territory, your forces set up a FOB with supplies and long-range comms for calling in CAS. The bugs sense this, and try to wipe out your FOB. As you defend, the bugs use the same strategy with an ant mound. When territory is contested, you use the Capture the Flag gamemode.

Baron I think you should focus on air superiority, mainly fighters and fighter bombers like the A-10, but any air support will help
Baron if you have not noticed sometimes when you control a unit at the bottom left it may say out of reach when you shoot meaning your weapons deals little to no damage at that range

Maybe have a look at the scavenger buildings too. Since You have a couple of points taken, it'll give You a nice resource boost. And I don't know if You know already, but Your 6 (the other 4 didn't have any ammo) flamethrowers did over 100K damage whereas on 2nd place Your 8 tanks did 41K

When building an army clicking weapons on certain vehicles allows you to change the weapon they are using. EG: on the scout helicopter you can change its 50mm rockets to 80mm etc
BARON don't forget when you make a successful defense when you are attacking the bugs like when you defended at the last part you still have to go to the flag and do the attack walkover thing again, even though it was a successful defense.
Try to get rocket artillery. When I try it out, it is very effective in killing hordes quickly. You need about 4-6+, but still, try then out, and they won't dissapoint!

Regarding sappers, you only need 1-2 max, the most efficient way to use them is to pause the game, then put down everything you need with a single Sapper and simply run the Sapper through everything you've placed and it'll make it. Also you should have definitely got the anti aircraft vehicle, it's super effective.
Nearly died in horse accident asking for a few likes it will make my day...
5:50 ish. the reason this happens is that when first attacking your establishing a beach head into the room (your base), the capture the flag is the "center" fight. while the fight where you have to blow up the ant hill (defend) is you destroying their beachhead.
hey baron you know you can move infantry units up onto furniture like tables and stuff to give them better sight and keep them safer from terrestrial units. also if you hold left alt and then scroll whilst placing emplacements you can rotate them, and you can put emplacement on top of furniture as well
you need aircraft, more specifically the blimp, snipers (they could be useful), more AA infantry (they are strong looking seeing as you probably have more flying bugs) and the mech because you are getting close to unlocking it

Baron if you press and hold down left ctrl when deploying unit, you can deploy 10 unit at a time faster

the bugs will usually try to prioritize capturing the bathroom and kitchen first because it gives them more food and if you are able to capture the box room it gives you more resources

When you attack you are defending the outpost you built as you need to clear the room while the defense not being by the base as you are defending ahead of the base as it’s a fall back position.

Baron you can demolish, but you can only demolish objects, This does not work for soldiers!, but you can click on the object go to the left bottom of your screen And click demolish boom done.

The Air protection placements won't stop tougher bugs in their tracks, but they'll damage them when the go through, Im almost certain anyway

Baron, you should try Cube World... No, it's not a Minecraft ripoff, but it's god awfully fun.
Id rather he didnt. Cubeworld was abandoned by its developer. He ran off with the money. It is the second worst game purchase i made so far.

Baron when the army men kill the bugs there is a second when the other bugs could revive them. So when the flame flowers were killing the ants they were just reviveing them.

If it was I already got the most elite bug fighters and the most dangerous hostile and blood field bugs The USCMC and the Xenomorphs got 4 queens meaning they got lots of host if bugs come and got the only thing that is equipped to deal with the Xenos Colonial Marines got about 4 smart gunners and lots of pulse rifle guys I'd suggest you look the two things up and everything thing about these two if you don't know what they are already if the channel wasn't kid friendly I would quote Ripley and Frosty with but I'll censor Frostys quote "We're ultimate Bad a*ses!" And Ripleys "I say we nuke EM from orbit... It's the only way to be sure" when referring to the Xenos. But combined they will be unstoppable and the bugs won't live to see day light and yes these are ment to be played with as if they are Army men but acoording to the franchise so the bugs will be destroyed with out standing a chance.

get the heavy tank or the battle tank because they have a lot of firepower and great armor it a real game changer for you.
Change the ammo to heavy while in battle and press x pls read baron ps the shelter does damage to the air units it dosnt block them

Sometimes I scream in my mind at how obvious some things are and how Baron sometimes misses them.
Barron the attacking deal is 1st move in and set up an outpost. 2nd destroy bugs outpost. Defense the bug's already set up a outpost so you must get rid of it or just defending the outpost

I think you should unlock either the heavy tank or the light anti aircraft for the vehicles and maybe get the marksman since it is about time you do or the grenade launcher for the infantry and also get some aircrafts but you don't have to do it all at once

I think the reason attacking results in defending and vice versa is because as it is the oppositions territory they have the objective of eliminating the enemies attacking force

i think you should unlock the paratroopers mainly because i want to see you play as one and parachute down onto the battlefield!! i know thats possible too
Hey baron when ever you select a unit there are four buttons on the right of the units picture. The second one from the top sets it to auto attack. Like so he can see this
Baron unlock the light AA and make a army of AA to support your front lines using the Light AA and the AA infantry
One major thing it mentioned in the description of the anti-air infantry is the fact that their ammunition (missiles) is very expensive
so Baren if your haveing troble with strong bugs health wise you should unlock sniper it will help a lot. pls like so Baren can see
You should go for more aircraft units because they would be highly useful against the ants and the massive armies because they have missiles and machine guns.
Baron get the supply helicopter if your getting aircraft then unlock observer

Baron here is a tip for every one what I do is battle the bugs And weaken the bugs then I battle them when they have a smaller forces
That group that Baron has, you know? The giant one? Anyway, that group has never taken a casualty before, but they were hurt a lot in the last fight. It's like a miracle group. XD
Baron you can check the damage on the flamethrower and see if it's worth it
The first part of attacking is setting up a FOB

Pro tip: if the supply trucks rans out of supplies or ammo send them in the outpose's supply cargo
I defend my outposts by putting up huge armies and then surrounding the Outpost with Sandbags, leaving only a small part exposed near the ammo dump so the enemy pathfinds around to it... then I put all my soldiers in a position near it so the supply trucks are instantly refilled.
I place a few of those Assault Vehicles because their grenades can hit insect clusters as they come in to land in the middle of the outpost.
Massive bug slaughter.
Also, infantry can climb furniture. Just don't get them stuck between the couch cushions or they'll just die.
Watching this in 2020 is still good

boron if you unlock the grenad launcher you can unlock the mech because the lines are not all connected plz like so he sees this
