Because it got her depiction completely wrong, they got her drug addiction wrong, the timelines of the songs where completely off, the actor was singing the vocals when she clearly didn’t have the voice for it. It’s a good fantasy film but a film to talk about Amy and to bring what she lived back to light it doesn’t meat the standard which is why ppl r hating on it cuz the actors and creators where saying they were trying their best to recreate what her life was like

There is a huge distinction between hate and dislike. Just as you are entitled to like it there are those of us who are equally entitled to dislike it. The word hate is in the dictionary and the word dislike is in the dictionary there are 2 separate words.

I understand what she is saying… but I also think Amy deserved to sing her own music too. It’s like when people try to sing Whitney Houston.. that’s why the first few movies didn’t work out.. When they made a movie of Selena Q, her voice was used.. Tina Turner, though she was alive, had her voice used at the time.. that would be my only criticism in terms of the music. It was a chance to introduce Amy’s music all over again . I just hope people have the interest to seek her repertoire out and listen. None the less, still looking forward to watching the movie.

Exactly! She did not at all master Amys voice-it's impossible. Her voice does not at all sound like Amy. They should have used a voice over.

Worse idea to do the singing! She was the best and how dare you. It’s like if Jennifer Lopez would have vocals in Selena. Nope 😢 I really wanted to enjoy hearing her voice on the big screen.
