I am from India 🇮🇳 and one thing I would admit that due to these old games we got to learn all the rules off a lot of sports in the world, be it Tennis, Baseball, Basketball, Football, NHL, and many others. There was no broadcast of Baseball, NBA or NHL, back then, and even now only NBA is broadcasted here. But I know almost all the rule of these sports because of these video games. I am glad I was born in this era where I got to play these video games before migrating to 3D games.

One of the most most annoying things is when the opposition hits a ball near the outfielder and they miss it or run past it

My sister found this "very slow" trick. When we as a pitcher threw ball at your rival's player, just hold UP & DOWN buttons while you press X button. The ball went very slowly below 20 km/hr, even 1 km/hr. We call it "IMPOSSIBALL" since it was very hard to hit this ball.

Those 1000 ft. homers are great. The ball goes over the top of the scoreboard and is still rising. It makes Babe Ruth look like he suffered from cerebral palsy. Or it makes Lou Gehrig look like he suffered from Lou Gehrig's disease. Oh wait: he did.

For me, the best baseball game even 'till now! Everything is visible on screen, the A.I. can be either easy or hard in random innings (dumb sometimes lmao), and easy-to-operate single press commands. Simple yet powerful U.X. indeed
When I saw bases loaded in the fun club magazine I went ape shit and couldn't wait for it to come out.
This game was part of series that included other sports games titled as the sport they are. I spent so much time playing Baseball and Ice Hockey as a kid. I always ended up playing baseball by myself because none of my friends liked it but Ice Hockey. Oh the fights we used to have. Great memories.
Ball gets jacked out of the stadium.... Everybody in the outfield just stands there and stares at the fence while the player is rounding the bases! Too funny! Used to love this game tho...👍

I liked how the team's color are based of Dodgers vs Astros from the 2017 World Series, but Astros won.

Is it just me or did this get the dimensions perfectly right between the ball being hit, OF arm strength, and baserunner speed? It felt like when the ball was hit to the gap, the right amount of runners scored. Hit hard in the INF? Double play. Baseball games the next 37 years are still struggling with this.

What's the trick for a super slow ball? I used to do it when I was a kid. It would take ages to reach the batter.

venguiJR17 I got it eventually. Hold Up and slide your thumb to Left/Right and back to Up. Keep doing this for about 5 seconds, and then throw the ball while doing this. The ball is unplayable lol.
