I used to live in Budapestfor 6 years before I immigrated to the US, but as I watch videos from other cities in the world I think Canberra is so much cleaner< not one graffiti, no trash on the sidewalk, I'm also impressed of the New Zealand cities, especially Christchurch

The square, renamed in 1927 in honour of Lajos Kossuth, was previously known by several names including; Országház tér ("Parliament Square") (1898-1927), Tömő tér or Stadt Schopper Platz in German ("Landfill Square") (1853-1898). This name recalls how the low-lying territory flanking the river, then outside the town of Pest, was filled with rubbish to raise the level of the ground. The first recorded name was Stadtische Auswind Platz ("Unloading Square for the Ships") in 1820.

Pavel Klicpera: Nebuď tak přísný, prosím. Tady (v Maďarsku) není všechno dokonalé (omlouvám se za gramatické chyby). V Česku jsem byla párkrát, viděla jsem mnoho krásných míst (a chutné jídlo). Svět je tak „kulatý“, že jsme jiní. Nebyl by svět nudný, kdyby bylo všechno stejné? Hezký sníhové a veselé Vánoce!
