Outstanding! I feel so encouraged that we have men and congregations such as this, our prize fighters for Christ in this age. We must never forget that because we loved our Messiah and sought to obey Him alone we were slaughtered. The armies of Anti-christ came and put our ancestors to the sword and we know by the Scriptures they will do it again.

Manuel De Lacunza, S.J. (July 19, 1731 - c. June 18, 1801) was a Jesuit priest who used the pseudonym Juan Josafat Ben-Ezra in his main work on the interpretation of the prophecies of the Bible, which was entitled The Coming of the Messiah in Majesty and Glory. Read this and understand where Darby got his ideas.
Edward Irving is the one who translated his writings into English, he also believed in a pre-trib rapture around the same time as Darby. He was another heretic who started the catholic apostolic church where the ecstatic tongue speaking came from, way before the pentecostal movement.

I get a real kick out of people who are against dispensationalism when the word dispensation is found in the scriptures. Rightly dividing the word of God is important to know who it is taking to and who it applies to. Here is just one example David in the psalms prayed for the Lord to not take his Holy Spirit from him. Nobody that has been born again should ever pray that prayer because we are sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. Now I am not saying not to ask for the fullness of the Holy Spirit but simply that we are his and he will never leave us or forsake us because when he purchases us with his own blood that is when the Holy spirit takes residence in the believer. No one in the Old Testament was born again. This also isn’t to say that everyone who believes in dispensationalism is always rightly dividing the word of truth. The Kingdom of heaven is not the same as the Kingdom of God. One is physical and one is spiritual. The bible says the kingdom of God dwelleth in you. It’s not Christs Physical Kingdom that dwells in us but his spiritual kingdom through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We are not baptized unto John’s baptism. Our baptism is not to make our way strait because the kingdom of heaven is at hand. You read in the book of Mathew if thy right hand offends thee cut it off or if thy right eye offends thee pluck it out it is better to have one hand than two to be cast into hell fire. Now if you think this applies to you then tell me where are all the one-eyed Christians or one-handed ones? don’t spiritualize this brother he is talking about swift judgment when he sets up his earthly kingdom. Need more proof? If thou say unto thy brother Raca thou shall be in danger of the council. WHAT COUNCIL? DONT, YOU DARE SPIRITUALISE THIS TO FIT YOUR OWN NARATIVE! But if thou say to thy brother thou fool, thou shall be in danger of hell fire. Swift judgement carried out by the Lord Jesus when he set up rulers and councils to carry out his judgments when he sits on his throne in Jerusalem. This may apply to us in principal but when it is that specific it doesn’t apply to us doctrinally at all. It is talking about a different time period a different dispensation. If you find it in the bible it didn't start with any man.

I have read all three volumes of Manuel Lacunza's (a.k.a. Ben Ezra) "The Coming of the Messiah in Glory and Majesty" as translated by Edward Irving. He did not teach a rapture in two stages. The two stage rapture and dispensationalism was primarily propagated by John Nelson Darby.

      @owensterry29 Před 3 lety +7

Edward Irving taught a one stage second coming up until 1828 after he'd been heavily influenced by the Scottish charismatic Margaret McDonald. If it weren't for Darby the doctrine of a secret rapture coupled with hyperdispensationalism would have stayed within the confines of the Irvingites.I've been studying the lives of Edward Irving,Joseph Smith and Vernon Wayne Howell aka David Koresh and I've found that the similarities are uncanny to say the least.

It is a second edition of a confession which dates back to 1644 (to people who called themselves Baptists, not anabaptists which was a different group who often were not even Christian). So the Jesuits who promoted 'free will' during the reformation, with their counter-reformation, now want everyone Calvinist or reformed?

Jack Spalden 1000 years will be in heaven, during this period the Earth is laid desolate without inhabitants, that's why the Bible talked about Satan being bound for 1000 years,
at the end of 1000 years the new Jerusalem come down

    • @annewood8673
      @annewood8673 Před 4 lety +3

Jack Spalden; Many churches today affirm, in their “what we believe” statements, that Jesus will return to rule Earth for a millennium. Yet only one passage in the entire Bible refers to Jesus and a thousand years: Revelation 20;1-6. I think it dangerous for any church to base a core doctrine on a single scripture passage.
It NEVER mentions that the reign is on earth. It says “they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years”. One thousand years is figurative to simply represent a very long period of time, especially since we already know that Christ’s Kingdom has no end Daniel 7;14 . If this were literal, it would contradict such passages: Isa 9;7, and Luke 1;31-33, as well as many others.
Scripture does not speak of "the thousand year reign of Christ." Revelation 20:4 says, "...and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God,...and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years." It's not Christ that reigns 1000 years, but those who were killed for God's sake that reign with Christ 1000 years.
For example, if I say that John Doe reigns with the President for one year, does that mean the President reigns only one year? No, it does not. The President could reign for 4 years, but the point is that John reigned with the President for one year. The President isn't the subject, it is speaking about how long John reigns with him. Likewise, Revelation 20:4 is not about how long Jesus will reign, but how long others will reign with Jesus. There's a big difference.
The whole argument for an earthly millennium is so God can fulfill his promises to Israel, his earthly people.
One of the central core doctrines of Zionism is an earthly kingdom. When Yeshua/Jesus came the first time, they were of a carnal mindset and kept inquiring on when the kingdom would be, however, an actual literal 1,000 earthly reign is not supported biblically, as Jesus stated His Kingdom is spiritual, and not of this world.
When He came, they were expecting an earthly king and kingdom, this did not happen and Jesus told the House of Judah(Israel) that the kingdom would be taken from them and given to a nation bringing forth the fruit of it(Mat 21;38-43). They were not interested in a spiritual kingdom, and so they sought to take His birthright. (Also think: Esau and Jacob, Isaac and Ishmael, Cain and Abel).

He's right,ALL of the protestant reformers followed HISTORICISM,(the method of prophetic interpretation followed by the prophets,Jesus & his disciples, & the reformers)...the reason futurism & praeterism was developed was because after the council of trent, the church wanted to STOP the reformers from preaching that ROME IS ANTI-CHRIST,so they commissioned the Jesuits w/the task of developing new forms of prophetic interpretation that would muddy the waters & mute the testimony of the reformers,so after futurism was developed by the Jesuit ribera & praeterism was developed by the Jesuit alcazar,a program of gradual infiltration was begun into the protestant churches & within a short time the futurist doctrine spread throughout the denominations like wildfire,HISTORICISM was the form used for almost 5 millennia & was endorsed by CHRIST & was proved to be consistent & reliable, dispensationalist prophecy was introduced into the protestant churches around 200 yrs ago & was intended to BLIND the churches as to the REAL identity of rome...its history & the Jesuits intent in it's introduction into the churches renders these interpretations HIGHLY SUSPECT & unreliable...

Paul is not referring to some hidden church age of grace that is wedged in between the 69th and 70th week. The mystery has nothing to do with the church itself man! May the Lord open your eyes! It is everything to do about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the One, whose blood was shed for all, and not just the Jews. To think the mystery is about the church...talk about arrogance, to think the mystery had anything to do with us lost souls....it had to do with Jesus and His provision and death on the cross, for us lost gentile souls. We are the beneficiaries of the mystery....we the church, are NOT the mystery. Also, the word dispensation in that chapter does not equal the contrived false doctrine of dispensationalism. It would also be appropriate to say "stewardship." Paul was called to preach to the gentiles, and that is the mystery, that was hid from all saints in the past, that Jesus would die for the entire world, not just a single nation of people descended from Abraham, but all people who believe in Jesus by faith--they are considered that spiritual seed of Abraham. Not all Israel is Israel Paul said. For a Jew is only a Jew who has inward circumcision of the heart. The gentile grafted into the tree with the Jews is the mystery which Paul was given to preach, that we all might have the opportunity to accept our salvation, reconciling mankind back to our Father in heaven.

Salvation today is only on the basis of the death, blood, and resurrection of God manifest in the flesh for your sins.
This is the only gospel that saves today.
There is more than one gospel in the Bible.
    If you understand the gospel of Christ, you can identify what is not ( Deut. 6:25;
    Matt. 3:2; John 3:16; Acts 2:38).
There is only one gospel by which sinners are saved in this day of grace, the gospel of the grace of God, which is called in Ephesians 1:13, ‘the gospel of your salvation.’ No one has ever been saved except on the grounds of the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

"most of our time will not be spent in the scriptures"
    why?
because if you read the King James Bible, you'll see
that dispensation is a bible word, and that there are 7
dispensations. God dispensed grace differently to mankind
    when world wide events change.
    examples include
(and by lines i mean the change from one dispensation to another)
before the fall of man and after the fall of man.
    this is dispensation line one
after the flood and God's everlasting covenant with Abraham and his seed.
    this is dispensation line two
the change from the law and the prophets to the
preaching of the kingdom of heaven to the Jews (God himself being
their king according to the book of Psalms and prophets)
after the Jews rejected that and killed him for it,
that brings in the 5th dispensation (the one we're in now,
grace through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ, which is from second
half of Acts to Philemon. this is the 4th dispensation line
and the catching up of the body of Christ
is ganna end the grace through faith and lead
into dispensation 6 where there will be signs
and God's wrath on an unbelieving, Christ rejecting world
(which the body of Christ will have no part in), this is dispensation
    line 5
dispensation line 6 is the ending of the wrath of God poured out
on earth and the 2nd bodily return of Jesus Christ on the face of the earth
and from their, the kingdom of heaven that was preaching in dispensation
4 and promised in dispensation 2 and 3 will be brought in. then after
the thousand years of ruling and reigning is expired, then Satan will
be released from the bottomless pit to deceive one last time then
God will cast devour him with fire from heaven to land him in
the lake of fire where the other two members of the trinity are
then after that, into eternity. they that are in the lake of fire
will have no other choice then to make it their home because
that's where they are kept forever. the body of Christ will be with God,
and physical Jews (seed of Abraham) as well as all the prophets and
    apostles will be with us.
they that say there is no dispensations in the bible is either a liar or ignorant

      @ArannReformedBaptistChurch  Před 4 lety +2

Dear friend, thank you for the question. I believe the answer is not in how true the promises were. They undoubtedly are, since God made them. The real issue is, to whom were the promises actually made. The Apostle Paul addresses this very point in Romans chapter 9. Consider what he says:
Rom 9:6-8 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: 7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. 8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.
So the promises were and are true. The recipients is the issue. Only the true spiritual israel receive them and all the blessings of them.
I hope this is of some help.

While it does trace back through some of the people I'm sure this guy mentions, It can also be traced back to early a.d. Very early. At the end of the day, what truly matters in understanding salvation by Grace through Faith alone. There are many dispensations in the Bible. The clearest and most defined is how God dealt with Mankind before Christ and how he deals with Mankind after Christ. To claim there is not a distinction is simply denial. I don't really jump onto the prochecy train as it has no bearing on salvation. It's fun to see different points of view and ideas though.

  • @ESCHATOLOGYERIC
    @ESCHATOLOGYERIC Před 11 měsíci +1

Sadly, the attack on classical dispensationalism is largely and attack on that which no longer exists. I am a premillennialist who agrees with the reformed that salvation has always been by faith alone in Christ alone (Gen. 15:6; Hab. 2:4; John 8:56; Rom. 4:3). I believe that regeneration precedes faith (John 6:44; Titus 3:5). I believe that both Jewish and Gentile believers in Christ are the "one new man" (Eph. 2:15) and that only believers in Christ (whether Jew or Gentile) will inherit Christ's Kingdom.
I don't believe there is a distinction between the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God. I don't believe the gospels are for one group, while the epistles are for another group. I do believe, however, in good exegesis. Anyone who doesn't acknowledge the future restoration of Israel is distorting the Apostle Paul's teaching in Romans 11:25-28. Paul clearly states that "all Israel" will be saved in Romans 11:26. The term "all Israel" cannot refer to the church as Calvin claimed since they are called "enemies of the gospel" two verses later (Rom. 11:28). How can the church be enemies of the gospel? Paul also states that Israel had a "partial hardening" in Romans 11:25. This partial hardening also proves "all Israel" in verse 26 must be national ethnic Israel. Is someone willing to claim that the church had a partial hardening? Is someone willing to claim elect Jews had a partial hardening?
Those who don't believe in a future restoration of Israel are attacking the promises of God and are unable to do solid exegesis. For example, partial preterists claim the Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24 was fulfilled in 70 A.D. The Parousia of Christ is mentioned 4 times in this text (Matt. 24:3, 27, 37, 39). The apostle Paul teaches that the Parousia is the event in which believers are given their resurrected bodies (1 Cor. 15:22-23; 1 Thess. 4:15-18). So, either you're a partial preterist and you have to claim there will be two "Parousias" separated by thousands of years (brilliant!), or you have to be a full preterist and claim the resurrection already happened in 70 A.D. and commit the same heresy as Hymenaeus and Philetus (2 Tim. 2:17-18) (even more brilliant!). Can some partial preterist on this site explain how the 16 usages of Parousia for Christ's coming can refer to two comings separated by thousands of years? Can you explain why the Parousia Paul mentions in 1 Cor. 15:23 is different than the Parousia mentioned in the Olivet Discourse? Can some full preterist explain to me why the nations are not going up to Jerusalem to worship Christ as promised in Zechariah 14:16-17?

Explain to me how the church can be partially hardened and enemies of the gospel?
By the way, there is no contradiction in believing that gentile believers in Christ will inherit the promises given to national, ethnic Israel (Rom. 11:17). • @jackspalden5143
      @jackspalden5143 Před 4 lety +2

      PART I:
Hi John P. Certainly, I would be glad to share this with you but before I divulge, I must confess that neither you or I will find the exact phrase “faith-alone” in this verbatim form and quite honestly why would it? It is logical to assume that to those who seek, find, opposed to those who do not seek, would not find.
With that being said, there is plenty of evidence for FAITH-ALONE doctrine! What do you do with all of these verses that make it CLEAR that NO WORK is involved for one’s Salvation which indicates a purely through faith-alone message? The Bible, if it is this divide masterpiece, CANNOT contradict itself and if you find that it might seem like it does, there is usually an explanation that one has simply not sought out after, to contextually understand (eg. “nit-pickers”); it is that pure and simple!
As a disclaimer, I’ve been saved now (after following the wrong doctrine for the majority of my life) for about 2-3 years now. Though, within this timespan, I have learned far more than all the years I’ve been alive prior; combined and multiplied, to the point where I do not think there is a specific number to give you. I had always “thought” that I “might” be saved, but had NO assurances at all! (Sounds a lot like the pagan religions, in which WORK is a MANDATE (eg. “in order to reach enlightenment” etc.) and one has to become familiar, accepting and be content with the “uncertainty”. -Sounds like one big RISK!
But let’s get right down to business:
Romans 10:3-4 says, “For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their ‘own righteousness’, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. FOR CHRIST IS THE END OF THE LAW FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS TO EVERY ONE THAT BELIEVETH.”
Philippians 3:9, “And be found in him, NOT having mine own righteousness, WHICH IS OF THE LAW, BUT THAT WHICH IS THROUGH THE FAITH OF CHRIST, THE RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH IS OF GOD BY FAITH.” (FAITH = RIGHTEOUSNESS)
The Lord Himself said that the only “WORK” necessary or allowed to be saved is to BELIEVE on the Lord Jesus Christ:
John 6:28-29, “Then said they unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, THIS IS THE WORK OF GOD, THAT YE BELIEVE ON HIM WHOM HE HATH SENT.”
In Matthew 7:23, it is very important to read that verse CAREFULLY, when it says,
“And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that WORK iniquity”. -the key word here is “work”.
The previous verse saying, “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many WONDERFUL WORKS?
They equated their salvation with faith + WORKS and simply not believing alone! (Example Catholics, Seven-Day Adventists etc.).
You only have to read Matthew 25:41 to understand what Jesus Christ means when He says “depart from me”. (Everlasting fire).
      Romans 11:6
“And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. BUT IF IT BE OF WORKS, THEN IS IT NO MORE GRACE: OTHERWISE WORK IS NO MORE WORK”.
      Galatians 2:21
“I do not frustrate the GRACE of God: FOR IF RIGHTEOUSNESS COME BY THE LAW, THEN CHRIST IS DEAD IN VAIN”.
      Ephesians 2:8
“For by GRACE are ye SAVED THROUGH FAITH; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD: NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast”[!]
      Romans 4:5
“But to him that WORKETH NOT, BUT BELIEVETH ON HIM THAT JUSTIFIETH THE UNGODLY, HIS FAITH IS COUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”
(NO WORK--BELIEF ON CHRIST JUSTIFIED THE UNGODLY---FAITH = RIGHTEOUSNESS; NOT THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ONE’S “OWN” RIGHTEOUSNESS AS ROMANS IN 10:3-4; PHILIPPIANS 3:9)
Hence, we are deemed righteous by Jesus Christ by Faith. There is no hierarchy of sin or what “we” as a society may deem as worse than the other (see: “mortal vs venial sins”; a Catholic heresy).
A lie is a sin, a murder is a sin, a fornication is a sin, a theft is a sin. God cannot look upon sin PERIOD, doesn’t matter what type; which might suggest that sin in general cannot be in his presence in heaven. (Isaiah 59:2; Habakkuk 1:13)-WE ARE ALL WORTHY OF HELLFIRE if it were not for the Grace of God! “FOR NO ONE DOETH GOOD, NO NOT ONE!”(Romans 3:12; Psalms 14:3, 53:3) “THERE IS NONE GOOD BUT ONE, THAT IS, GOD.” (Mark 10:18)
Repenting and believing go hand-in-hand; it is to “change one’s mind” of what is and what is not sin (the Lord even “repented” in Exodus 32:14!) Homosexuals for example, believe they are not sinning but the LAW IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN. (Romans 3:20) -though for the born-again, we are no longer under the schoolmaster (Romans 11:6)!
When born-again (to those who BELIEVE that Christ is who saves; nothing else), we receive the Spirit of Christ, which we cannot lose, hence Christ would have to destroy himself as we have now become part of Him!
      1 Corinthians 3:13-17
“Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: BUT HE HIMSELF SHALL BE SAVED. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are”.
      Romans 8:10
“And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness”.

      PART II:
      Once saved always saved continued:
      John 10:27-30
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: AND I GIVE UNTO THEM ETERNAL LIFE; AND THEY SHALL NEVER PERISH, NEITHER SHALL ANY MAN PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY HAND. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and NO MAN IS ABLE TO PLUCK THEM OUT OF MY FATHER’S HAND. I and my Father ARE ONE”.
      Christ the advocator:
“...IF GOD BE FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also MAKETH INTERCESSION FOR US. WHO SHALL SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF CHRIST? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. FOR I AM PERSUADED, THAT NEITHER DEATH, NOR LIFE, NOR ANGELS, NOR PRINCIPALITIES, NOR POWERS, NOR THINGS PRESENT, NOR THINGS TO COME, NOR HEIGHT, NOR DEPTH, NOR ANY OTHER CREATURE, SHALL BE ABLE TO SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD, WHICH IS IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. (Romans 8:31-39)
In Corinthians, an unspeakable sin was committed, yet salvation was still secured!
      1 Cor 5:1-5
“It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his FATHER’S WIFE. And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, TO DELIVER SUCH AN ONE UNTO SATAN FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF THE FLESH, THAT THE SPIRIT MAY BE SAVED IN THE DAY OF THE LORD JESUS”.
Not only where the faithful (who believed) still saved but this verse adds an insight into those who believe people who preach grace grace grace and there is no consequence for being a “Carnal Christian”. There is! In that verse, in this world, one can LEGALLY be turned over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh!
What else happens? What goes around surely comes around; you “REAP WHAT YOU SOW”.
      Galatians 6:7-8:
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also REAP. For he that SOWETH to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting”.
The very next page opens up the first chapter of Ephesians, in which verses 10-23 speaks of the inheritance by saying:
“That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an INHERITANCE, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who WORKETH ALL THINGS AFTER THE COUNSEL OF HIS OWN WILL: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. IN WHOM YE ALSO TRUSTED, AFTER THAT YE HEARD THE WORD OF TRUTH, THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION: IN WHOM ALSO AFTER THAT YE BELIEVED, YE WERE SEALED WITH THAT HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. WHEREFORE I ALSO, AFTER I HEARD OF YOUR FAITH IN THE LORD JESUS, and love unto all the saints, Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward WHO BELIEVE, according to the working of his mighty power, Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”
Still think license to sin? NOPE, God CHASTENS AND SCOURGES the Sons He receives:
      Hebrews 12:6-8:
“For whom the Lord loveth he CHASTENETH, and SCOURGETH every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons”.

      PART III:
Still believe we have a license to sin? NOPE, we’ll get sick!
      1 Corinthians 11:29-31:
“For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged”.
The JUDGEMENT SEAT OF CHRIST (for the SAINTS [US!]); NOT THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT (only for unbelievers and the damned of old)
      2 Corinthians 5:10-11:
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, WHETHER IT BE GOOD OR BAD.
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences”.
Also the famous verse 1 Corinthians 6:9; was NOT talking to those who were saved yet!! Where it says:
“Know ye not that the UNRIGHTEOUS shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind...” etc.
Again according to Romans 4:5, WE ARE DEEMED RIGHTEOUS, 1 Corinthians 6:9 cannot be talking about the born-again!
“Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins”. (James 5:20) -thus why soul-winning is important too; a multitude of sins are HIDDEN from God, why? -because that person is now deemed righteous through Christ.
We are covered with the robe of righteousness! (Isaiah 61:10) We still sin which is why we STILL need to ask God for forgiveness!
      Matthew 6:14-15:
“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses”.
Hence, why we still need to ask for forgiveness.
A Perfect Bible CANNOT contradict itself, otherwise it is not perfect and God cannot be trusted. We cannot view certain parts as more authoritative over others. Does James contradict Paul in terms of faith + works? -or was James speaking about the JEWS? as Paul went to preach to the Gentiles? We also need to RIGHTLY divide Scripture to the right people as per 2 Timothy 2:15. Why? -because then you are going to presume that every detail will apply to you when this is not the case. I believe in the Pre-Tribulation rapture where the Saints will be caught up in the air to meet with the Lord, hence the significance of the Judgment Seat of Christ. Those who do not make this rapture will be left on earth and they must do something very important which doesn’t just take faith to do...what is it? THEY NEED TO RESIST THE MARK OF THE BEAST! -A WORK!
So does James 2:17 (“Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”) contradict the writings of Paul? NO.
Contextually, you must observe the AUDIENCE James is speaking to, NOT the Church but to the JEWS; the same Jews who will have to endure the Tribulation (since they won’t be raptured with the Church) and turn to Christ during this period and must do an extra step for Salvation, resisting the Anti-Christ and his devices.
How do we know James is talking to the Jews? In the same chapter in James 2 verse 10 (a few verses before) reads, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” (And then a few verse after) Verse 21: “Was not ABRAHAM our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?” JAMES IS NOT SPEAKING TO THE CHURCH! ABRAHAM IS NOT THE FATHER OF THE GENTILES! That would be ADAM whom in turn, fathered the WHOLE WORLD.
Hence, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through FAITH”[!] (Galatians 3:13-14)
So essentially if you broke one law, you are guilty of all and are under a CURSE! (Deuteronomy 27:26; Galatians 3:10)
Thankfully, we are NOT under the curse of the law, Christ Jesus became that curse for us! AMEN.
“Do we then make void the law through faith? GOD FORBID: YEA, WE ESTABLISH THE LAW”! (Romans 3:31)
WE ARE TO BE AMBASSADORS FOR CHRIST (2 Corinthians 5:20), as He instructed us to carry out what many Christendom call, “THE GREAT COMMISSION” (which is performed by “witnessing”-Acts 1:8, “preaching”-Mark 16:15, “baptizing”, and “teaching”-Matt 28:20), which is not merely a “calling” of a certain few individuals (another Catholic heresy); we all ought to adhere to this calling as instructed by Christ. Though, the problem remains that many Christians either still remain Spiritually immature and are still babes (1 Corinthians 3:1; 1 Peter 2:2) or to the so-called Christian who follows a wrong doctrine who has declared themselves to be part of the Church but who are actually not saved at all. However, the more one familiarizes themselves with Scripture, the more maturing that person can undergo and of course with the aid of the Holy Spirit, can become born-again if that person wasn’t already.
Just to note, by Baptism I do not mean the “infant water baptism” (an infant is too immature to understand repentance and believing on Christ) or that it is “water baptism in of itself, that saves a person”, for such a conversion to be born-again comes by BELIEVING, as being baptized by immersion in water is merely a SIGN of this change depicting the death, burial and resurrection as was Christ (Colossians 2:12; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 6:4), for all those to witness; the former common beliefs are all Catholic heresies.
The Bible says in Corinthians 2:11,
“I marvel that [you all] are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto ANOTHER GOSPEL: Which [there] is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, LET HIM BE ACCURSED. As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.” (Galatians 1:6-9)
“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.“ (Matthew 24:24)
The disagreement between Peter and Paul wasn’t anything to be taken lightly. Paul’s argument was that these works of the Jews shouldn’t apply to the Gentiles BECAUSE we are not saved by works but of Faith. Faith in Jesus Christ is what makes us righteous, by Him who gives us the clean fine white linen upon us before God, not the filthy rags from our good deeds. (Isaiah 64:6)

      PART IV:
Now when it comes to meat and holydays (“holidays”):
“Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ”. (Colossians 2:16)
When it comes to God’s laws, He gave them to man, knowing that nobody but God Himself could fulfill them! (In the Old Testament, a burnt offering was needed each year for the atonement of sin-Leviticus 16:34). Thus, an admitted sinner and debtor of the law is revealed in EVERYONE. We are all guilty and should all be punishable by death if it was not for believing on Christ who fulfilled every last one of these laws!
Why couldn’t He eat unclean meat? I think the answer is obvious, it would defile the body and He needed to be incorruptible for a perfect sacrifice, but FOR US, also temples of God and believers in Christ, it defileth no more! It is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, it is what comes out! (Matthew 15:17-18) Again, we are made righteous through faith on Christ Jesus and are thus CLEAN to be in the presence of the God almighty; though for man to do it alone (with the laws), they could not fulfill on their own. Again, if you break one, you break them all. God doesn’t even THINK an evil thought!
If we love God, we ought to follow his commandments indeed, but not for our Salvation, Christ did that work for us so that we might live.
AGAIN, we are to RIGHTLY divide Scripture to the right people as per 2 Timothy 2:15.
John 3:16, mentions NO work but BELIEVING and in a nutshell that is how we are saved when it says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.”
It goes on to say in verses 17 and 18 that:
“For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that BELIEVETH ON HIM IS NOT CONDEMNED: BUT HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT IS CONDEMNED ALREADY, BECAUSE HE HATH NOT BELIEVED IN THE NAME OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.”
Jesus Christ came to save SINNERS, NOT the self-righteous. Believe on the finished work that Jesus Christ DID FOR US.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the TRUTH IS NOT IN US. (1 John 1:8)
Jesus Christ said that we merely have to look upon a woman to have committed adultery [in our hearts]! (Matthew 5:28). NO ONE CAN MAKE IT TO HEAVEN ON THEIR OWN MERIT, HOWEVER THOUGH MERIT IS WHAT CAN REWARD YOU!
Hence, Faith = Salvation; having been Saved already with the addition of Works = Rewards. Thus, how one is saved should NEVER be confused with how one is to obtain rewards!
      There are three different outcomes:
      (1) One can do works but NOT believe (faith) and henceforth NOT be saved. (The majority of the world may fit into this category which is the same as the one who does no works and does not believe; one may seem morally better than the other but both will die without Christ and He says that there is no excuse for not believing in Him! -Romans 1:20)
      (2) One can have FAITH (BELIEVE) on the Lord Jesus Christ and “BE SAVED” but choose NOT to become Ambassadors of Christ by preaching the Gospel. = LESS REWARDS
      (3) LASTLY, ONE COULD BELIEVE (FAITH) AND BE SAVED THROUGH FAITH AND PERFORM WORKS TO BECOME REWARDED ACCORDINGLY. -That is JUST; this is FAIR. One shouldn’t receive the same amount of rewards when somebody else is working harder to spread the Good News; this is COMMUNISM.
If salvation did come by Faith and Works, then how would these rewards be distributed; what would determine this distribution? Evenly?? Again, this is communism.
So in a nutshell, to those who are born-again and continue to live a life that is ungodly? REWARDS AFTER SALVATION MAY BE IN JEOPARDY!
2 John 1:8 says: “Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, BUT THAT WE RECEIVE A FULL REWARD”.
Again, 1 Corinthians 3:13-16: “Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”
Catholics argue Purgatory with this verse, it is not! This humbly states that if all a man’s work for God was burned, that person would still be saved; then it follows by saying God dwelleth in us. If we need to be purged for our sins anyway, then that doctrine is calling God a liar about being made justified through Christ and this purging God would have to endure as well since he now dwells in us! Senseless!
"LET NO MAN BEGUILE YOU OF YOUR REWARD in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind"[!!] (Corinthians 2:18)
Every believer should want to be like Jesus. However, most believers DON'T but that does not mean they are not saved!
Peter cursed the name of Jesus. Noah got drunk. Samson went with a prostitute. David commit murder and adultery. Jonah ran from God. Peter denied Jesus. John the Baptist sent his disciples to ask Jesus if he were actually the Christ. WE ARE ALL SINNING IN OUR MINDS PROBABLY RIGHT NOW! BREAK ONE LAW, YOU ARE GUILTY OF ALL!
WE CANNOT NIT-PICK THE BIBLE ACCORDING TO OUR LIKING. WE MUST UNDERSTAND WHO IS BEING SPOKEN TO IN EACH CONTEXT, WHETHER TO THE JEWS, SAVED AND THE UNSAVED!
ONCE WE ARE BORN, WE CANNOT BECOME UNBORN! CAN WE CRAWL BACK UP INTO OUR MOTHERS’ WOMB? NOPE! COULD WE LOSE FELLOWSHIP WITH HER AND NOT GET OUR WEEKLY ALLOWANCE? YEAP! IT IS THE SAME WITH GOD AND FALLING FROM GRACE AND FELLOWSHIP! THIS IS CALLED BEING A CARNAL(-CHRISTIAN).
We OUGHT to want to do right and establish the law among others by upholding it, but by no means is it what saves you. What we aren’t to do is promote sin!
I apologize that this wasn’t a clear-cut, few-worded answer you were seeking John P. We are CURRENTLY (time-period-wise) in the DISPENSATION OF GRACE. Ephesians 3:2-12 says:
“If ye have heard of the DISPENSATION OF THE GRACE OF God which is given me to you-ward: HOW THAT BY REVELATION HE MADE KNOWN UNTO ME THE MYSTERY[...] Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; THAT THE GENTILES BE FELLOWHEIRS, AND OF THE SAME BODY, and PARTAKERS OF HIS PROMISE IN CHRIST BY THE GOSPEL: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom WE HAVE BOLDNESS AND ACCESS WITH CONFIDENCE BY THE FAITH OF HIM.”
Hope this helps and would be happy to answer any further questions or concerned :)
P.S. As a final disclaimer, I am under a strict guideline not to preach to you anything false as I could face a GREATER CONDEMNATION by the Lord. I am compelled to be as accurate as I can possibly be as James 3:1 states that, “[...] be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”
Thus, I also encourage you to double-check everything I have mentioned and to possibly reread this a couple of times over as in reality there was no short explanation to render you. If it were, many people would have their Salvation secured and would be working towards their rewards. (Remember Lucifer, now Satan, was bejeweled with every stone before he fell-Ezekiel 28:13. It is surely doubtful that he would want anyone to gain what he lost, let alone being saved!) Also, might I suggest that you only use the KJV (it’s an even LONGER explanation on why) as it is the best translation available to us. Even though the other versions may be easier to read, it has countless omissions, key word changes etc. that give rise to false doctrines and heresy. (Some of these reasons are listed here : www.jesusisprecious.org/bible/modern_bible_omissions.htm)
I would just learn to change words like “thou”, “ye”, endings like “-eth” etc. to everyday words English words instead to make it easier. I have implemented some of these changes for you in the above verses I have given you and these changes are in brackets [ ]. We have the right to reprove, correct etc. but ONLY under sound doctrine.
      2 Timothy 3:16
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness”.

Jesus has fulfilled the OT on the Cross once and for all, which fact can be proved by his last word on it "Tetelestai (I have fulfilled)". Since His second coming for judging the Old World in 70 AD, Jesus has established the New World conclusively and decisively, where Satan has no power and authority over the world "de jure" (1Cor. 15:20-28). Therefore, Christians should pray and act for their taking over the world for Jesus on the basis of the fact of His legal conquest.

No I don't see anything Shawty going on here. On top of that look up a book called dispensationalism before Darby and also study your Bible and rightly divide it. Because dispensationalism is biblical Paul says we need to rightly divide but that also means there are those who wrongly divide.
