- Today I want to go over the most overrated Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet. This list won't be exclusive to just new mons though so there just may be some beloved older mons that make this list, which I'm sure will upset their super fans!

I disagree on your evaluation of Glaive Rush. I might just be getting lucky, but I find that with a two dragon dances I can sweep a couple pokemon without being hit by the downside of the move. Failing that, you can alternate between Glaive Rush and Protect
This exactly. Glaive Rush's major downside is so easily mitigated by Protect that it's not really that much of a downside.
Well I think the idea is they use protect and the other move uses priority move to kill like a bullet punch scissor
To be fair you can sweep most teams with two dragon dances from any pokemon
@@darrianceragland7963 (hey bud, there's no damaging move that has higher priority than protect.)
Yeah competitively not running Glaive Rush/Protect on this Mon is a waste.. it makes this move almost 0 downside except that you have to spend a turn on protect/switching, which can allow your opponent a setup turn.
Becuz a nuzlocker used choice scarf glaive Rush to plough through a team, I tried a similar strat on showdown. It didn't work that well when people just intercept me with a well place attack
I’m ok with Armarouge and Ceruledge being Overrated cause I think they deserve to be loved. I mean having a Dark Soul Knight and a Mega Man Gladiator as your partner screams awesomeness! Plus having a Pokémon that’s similar in popularity like Zoroark and Toxtricity isn’t a bad thing for every generation.
Before hisui nobody brought up Zoroark like they do for Charizard Lucario or Greninja
Who cares do not Disrespect the Mega man design it's one of my favthat's what made me get the game in the 1st place
Lol I got a female Armarouge and named her Samus.
@@MikeTheEnforcer same
@@UmbraStarWolf they made and entire movie around this pokemon line the only reason Zoroark didn't stick in gen 5 was cause it sucked
I love Scovillain but it feels like a middle stage evolution to me, it really would have benefited from another stage, even if the stats didn't change much
S
If it had a ridiculous ability that made up for its lacking stats, I'd play it but they didn't. It's absolutely a Shrek Sweat flavored Gatorade.
ye 100% it just looks wierd and unappealing
Your Mew icon is so cute 🥰.
I 1000% agree!! Pre game I thought it would make my top 10 favourite all time but because it’s so mediocre it isn’t it desperately needs a third evo.
"The legendaries are cool and the way you get them is great but I don't think they live up to the hype they look good but since people like them they're overrated" like what bro? Let people enjoy things damn
Yeah, the argument is basically "they're popular so they're overrated", but in reality, they're some of the best legendaries we've gotten in a while, especially lorewise (based on the Four Perils of Chinese mythology, which puts them in direct opposition to the Forces of Nature, who are the Four Auspicious Beasts). The process you have to go through to get them really makes them feel like they're ancient malevolent spirits. And they're all really good options to use on your team, especially Chien Pao, who is one of the more powerful Ice types.
Man I love Scovillain. His design is amazing
Yeah I would put that up there as one of the worst designs ever, great concept but terrible execution.
@Glirion it’s not sarcastic I used it on my team and I really like it
I loves it too
I agree. It's so goofy that I adore it.
@Glirion_ I've met quite a few who love it. And I'm one of them.
Man I'm not gonna lie, that dunsparce evolution ACTUALLY pisses me off 🤣 like REALLY?! This is what you gave us?!
I mean, I guess it's better then nothing. I think they did it for the memes and to troll people a lot. But surprisingly dudunsparce is actually really good in battling with it's signature move Hyper drill which goes through protect.
It feels like a giant middle finger doesn't it. Even the name.
Like it was designed by someone who actually hates it & it's fans.
I hope Flygon doesn't get that treatment.
Dunsparce is a joke, Dudunsparce is simply an extension of the joke.
Farigiraf is my new favorite psychic pokemon. This thing is strong. If you have armor tail ability, you literally can't be hit with moves like sucker punch and first impression. It is also immune to ghost type and has good hp stat. Also Twin beam is an amazing move, that can work against opponents with focus sash, and substitute abusers, because this thing hits twice, and hits hard i might add.
Frittle's evolution is also a strong psychic type, even has a move that harshly lowers Sp. Def.
Look, I get emotion is a powerful object; but base 60 speed is totally not 'strong' - sorry, but I have Years of experience from Smogon and whether you respect that or not, it doesn't change those facts.
Thus, the whole mitigating Priority thing is mostly pointless because the thing gets outsped by 99% of Pokémon in the first place!! ~ I'm just trying to advise, please don't get mad if you will. You can continue loving the Giraffe (I love it's design.)
Bruh, just use Protect every other turn with Baxcalibur...
I sadly do think tinkaton is getting too much attention even though I loved using it. My reasoning for using it however is different from most. On halloween me and friends did a Halloween dnd night and the best character that night was a fairy who used a hammer who quite literally bashed everything to pieces. As soon as I saw its middle stage(found its first stage later in the game) I immediately added it to my team.
I think what would have justified it's Hype is actually if it were a _bit_ slower - but had a bit more Atk & a new Fairy priority move. Even @ 315 speed max; that's still not going to set the Pokémon world on fire in these 2020 days. Heck Dugtrio outspeeds it and EQs it and Tinkaton can't even use any good priority to answer. They should have given it a Fairy version of Jet Punch.
Umbreaon doesn't know that you can use protect or DD and ignore the downsides
I CAN NOT agree with Innialape. He gets a ton of love because he is arguably the most deserving of it.
I have love Mankey since Gen 1. It is actually my only favorite pokemon of type that has never changed. I will admit, it was a tiny bit lacking but Innialape has fulfilled my dream of it being incredible and it has put in the most work and most carries on my team.
It is not overrated. It is deserving of its glory.
just by looking at the thumbnail your wrong, scovillian is perfectly rated
you're*
@@SteveFard shut up 🙄
@@apathy2454 unironically using emojis makes me wanna jump off
@@apathy2454 Why are you mean when the other just wanted to help? Are you able to be nice and polite?
Yup, for sure. It’s got a great typing for a sun sweeper, with really good stats and abilities to back it up.
It has fairly good offences with 108 in each, STAB fire moves (with sun boost), and STAB Solar Beam to complete its ensemble as a special sweeper in the sun. Their speed is their weakest link at 75, but even then it has Chlorophyll and Trailblaze to make up for the lack of speed.
Edit- forgot to mention the defences. They’re low, 65 HP / Def / SpDef. That’s why it’s well-rated instead of over/underrated. If they were much lower, perhaps 60/55, then I’d understand people who say it’s overrated.
I’m actually have to agree with you about Tinkaton. I see this Pokémon on almost every SV playthrough team.
Ikr? I just laugh at them and use Iron Valiant. Much more reliable and immediately impactful.
I love Tinkaton but it's just too underwhelming; needed more Attack, or a better Custom move than Regigigas' terrible effect but in it's signature move lol.
And it looks fucking stupid beyond belief.
Nothing stops you in hiting "Protect" or to Switch after Baxcalibur's next turn.... in VGC it's great and in singles it's not the worst
?? You can't Protect _right after_ the turn you've just used it if the other Pokémon survives?!
And even then; it's effectively 2 moveslots (half your total allocation) for 1 move that's less than a Draco Meteor? Yikes.
Annihilape is not overhyped. He speaks for himself skill wise to match his hype. Kingambit almost lives up to its hype.
They got lazy with the king Gambit design they got lazy
@@blacksheep7741 yea cause tea and a flower wreath is any better

I haven't played the games yet, but I feel that the Treasures of Ruin are like an opposite to the Island Guardians
They're most assuredly not. They're supposed to be opposites to the Forces of Nature.
10 - Don't care if they rock the meta. I love them.
9 - LOVE Baxcalibur cause...Godzilla. Duh.
8 - Cyclizar - Eh....I got a shiny of it. XD
7 - Gardevoir - Is great, but yeah, very overrated just like Charizard. XD
6 - Cetitan - Neutral towards it really. I usually never see anyone talk about it other than they prefer its pre-evo.
5 - Treasures - I love the treasures of ruin big time, especially the snow leopard.
4. Toadscruel - I just like Toadscruel's shiny cause pink. Need more pink shinies!
3. Scovillain - I think it's neat, but wish the design and shiny was better.
2. Ceruledge - I looooove him! His signature move is just awesome! I do wish their shinies were better though.
1. Tinkaton - Not my favorite design wise, but damn she packs a punch!
I don’t think any Pokemon in scarlet and violet are overrated tbh they’re all pretty solid
Except tinkaton i see it everywhere and personaly i dont really like its design
@@-Puppet- I agree, kind of annoying lowkey
This seems to be the video form of the "old man yelling at clouds" meme. It would have been nice to hear more about who you feel should be considered as replacements for these on teams.
? Just use the older more reliable mon? Plus he is critiquing. Many of these are new Niches; but they're simply underwhelming compared to previous 'Hype trains' - like Garchomp, Metagross, Sceptile, Delphox with Grass Knot (there's your 'Grass/Fire' only much speedier and with STAB Psychic moves?)
I only flaty disagree with him on the Ruinous mythicals; that was a bad opinion being honest those things are OP.
I agree with most of these. I really just use pokemon that I enjoy, as long as their useable in some way, despite how good or bad their stats are. It’s really fun to experiment with different types of pokemon you’ve never used before, and some people just have the most plain and predictable teams for each playthrough.
When your Baxcaliber has 300 attack and 220 speed, glaive rush instantly sweeps, even if the Pokémon against it is a higher level. It is my MVP. It is fantastic and nothing can change my mind lol
People dont care about things taking up the meta
I honestly think Farigiraf is very underrated. I can't recall ever facing one on ladder or showdown, but it has been on almost every one of my own teams and absolutely carried. The prio-immunity for both it and it's teammate makes it great at setting trick room or enabling your tailwind user, and makes it an amazing switch in for things like e-speed dragonite or technician bullet punch scizor.
For the ruin legendaries I only thing Chien-Pao and Chi-Yu ar overrated. They are on almost every team in the formats that allow them, but I almost never see Wo-Chien or Ting-Lu which is crazy to me considering their abilities have a much lower chance to backfire than the other two.
I won't dwell on Toedscruel too much since my last comment about it was featured in the video so it's pretty clear where I stand, but after seeing Wolfey and JaidenAnimations run eviolite Toedscool with protect, spore, rage powder, morror coat, I'm convinced it's a good pokémon. But I guess Toedscool being good kinda strengthens your point about Toedscruel being overrated. Also toedscool's walking animation is one of the best things I've ever seen.
I think shiny Pokémon should’ve made this list since they made it a little too easy to get shiny Pokémon I already have 5 shiny Pokémon and I don’t even have the shiny charm yet
I honestly couldn’t agree more I got 7 before I had the shiny charm (I now have 13 with the shiny charm)
Gardevoir will stay as a favorite of mine since my first play through of the original generation 3 games, had it on my team every chance i got when a game had the Pokemon as an option, now as for the GodZilla looking Pokemon i have it on my team mainly cause i like its design, i did have DunDunsparse on my team at some point but changed it to a more suitable Pokemon do to it just being disappointing, i wanted to see it get an evolution, but this was a sort of let down, as for the other Pokemon i didnt pay all to much attention to them after i captured them
Yes gardevoir is an amazing pokemon when ever i need a reliable psychic type i typicaly chose gardevoir. In legends Arcues Gardevoir, Lucario, and Zoroark were amazing and very useful in the game
Gardevoir is really good. Swampert is the only Gen 3 I like over it. It's like Alakazam but a little weaker, and one you don't need to trade to evolve.
The only way to make glaive rush GOOD is by using protect or dragon dance before so you can hit faster
The people who mainly wanted a pepper grass/fire type seem to be unaware that there is a tree that drops exploding seed pods. Too bad seed bomb already exists.
can someone clarify what is the typing of the substitute used by cyclizar is it that of cyclizar or the mon that is switching?
Honestly, at least from what I've seen, I feel like half of these pokemon aren't even popular (dudunsparce scolvillian etc.) And the ones that are highly rated I feel are properly rated because they either are or can be great pokemon. 3 examples Ceruledge and armorouge are generally good pokemon with good move pools and good stats. With baxcalibur glaive rush can be easily compensated for with protect. And Tinkaton has 1 of the best typings in the whole game. I don't understand how these pokemon are overrated. Just because a pokemon is highly rated doesn't mean it is overrated.
Bax is OP ? Just use protect. It's literally one of the if not best pseudo legendary with his ability and GR.
This^
Gotta disagree with Annihilape. That thing carried me through my play through. You’re probably talking about overrated for competitive battling though.
He means in general, but he kept it in a general category and mentioned that Annihalape is probably not as overhyped
My team is Tinkaton, Ceruledge, Gholdengo, Clodsire, Meowscarada, and Umbreon lol
What is the meaning of the text on the pokedex cards?
Highly disagree on your opinion about Glaive Rush because Protect exists so that guaranteed can't miss/crit on the following turn is not that big of a deal, plus Baxcalibur can run Dragon Dance so it's not guaranteed at all that your opponent will move before you the next turn.
Scovillain in doubles can spicy extract a clear body or clear amulet teammate and just give them an SD boost, and it also gets rage powder so it could have some merit in doubles.
I don't think my and your definition of overrated match up ... Most of these mons don't seem overrated, rather objectively and justifiedly good ... But maybe it's just me. I am not waving a pitchfork aroumd just for this xX
Baxcalibur is good because glaive rush you can just protect
That Base 145 attack, decent bulk, unique ability and access to DD makes Baxcalibur a good sweeper.
That's a solid strat. I think, though, that it works best if as long as either you go last or you set up and then knock the other 'Mon out first. That said, people could also go with Feint, Phantom Force, or even an Urshifu with Unseen Fist (assuming that they bring that one back).
Pokemon don't have to be good in competitive to be popular
Surprised Meowscarada and Skeledirge aren't here. Notice how I'm only talking about those two. There's one missing.
Just protect after glaive rush and you’ll literally eliminated any downside. Also tera ice ice shard has been priority ohkoing garchomo for me so that’s pretty nice
Garchomo 😂
@@robertperez2262 lmao typo
Chi-Yu? Chien-Pao? Annihilape? Cyclizar? These are meta definining Pokémon right now. Ceruledge is also a very very very solid Pokémon. Lastly, who exactly is overrating Gardevoir? It's a very solid Pokémon for a single player playthrough (specially since you can catch it before you even reach the first Pokémon Center), but it hasn't even seen competitive play in years. You're grasping for straws here. Maybe you should have just made an actually respectable top 5 list.
Scovillian is my favorite Gen 9 pokemon. I've been waiting forever for a chili pepper grass/fire Pokemon.
I’ve just been waiting for Grass/Fire, period. It’s about time!
annihilape and kingambit very much live up to the reputations
What if Charcadet gets more evolutions? I mean it does evolve using armors which are made from Pokemon material.
Dudunsparce is overrated? Huh? Legit Barely anyone talks about liking it lol
10:50 whats that music?
#10 I'm sorry but seriously!? there's people out there who like Dunsparce's lazy evo?
#9 HOW??? Baxcaliber's practically overshadowed by all the other Pseudo-legend Pokemon they crammed in S&V!
#7 that's arguable... But just wait till you meet Iron Valiant!
#5 Says the guy named after a dark type Pokemon, and the hype is Very warranted since this is the first generation to have No. PSYCHIC! Legendaries.
#4 Honestly Mycelium Might is pointless when the Ability, Mold Breaker, can also by pass Goldengo's ability so I have to agree.
#3 Design wise, yes it coulda been a lot better, but just wait till this thing becomes a Harsh Sunlight weather nightmare!!!
#1 We all lived through Gen 8, and Zacian is to blame for how amazing Fairy/Steel Pokemon can be! On top of that it's a well balanced Pokemon with a powerful signature move to make up it's middling attack stat and it can actually take hits to survive. I've seen players use Clodsire through their whole game and it has 70 bts less then Tinkaton!
So one pokemon is overrated based on one move and 2 mons (new evo's) are overrated because?? And what makes cyclizard exactly overrated? Based on, again, a move/ability?
I ain’t watching the rest of the video, but from #10 is he really calling them overrated because people simply like the Pokémon themselves in general? How you said two of them aren’t “rocking the meta” but have them in an overrated list 💀 your literally telling ppl they are wrong because they like them 😭
People love tinkaton for her design and lore, not because of stats.
What lore? 🤔
@@-Puppet- She's a small sassy thing with a big hammer that bonks metal birds. People find that cute.
It will probably be the Pokémon in the anime that follows the group because one of them has a Coviknight, probably ending up with Team Rocket. Calling it now.
Lore is a stretch, but that could be said a lot with how Pokémon adds to its characters.
@@FaolanHart i can tell for sure ash or one of his friends will have one.
I'd say I'm surprised some of the paradox pokemon aren't on here but people tend to bash them and say gamefreak just "recycled ideas". I do hope the paradox mons will get more love in the future though. My personal favorite is iron treads which helps me out a LOT with fairy tera raids and I like that it smiles at you when you give it a bath, despite being seen as a cruel pokemon
They deserve more love because mons like Roaring Moon and iron valiant look badass
I have mixed emotions about kingambit and baxcailbur. Baxcailbur is cool but that move glavier rush is so OP when you keep on using it and takes the damage.
I'm still not a huge fan of Kingambit from a design aspect as of right now, since I find the design is a bit too busy
@@bulborb8756 the fans had the same thoughts about bisharp before seeing it in the anime
We used too judge a pokemon just by its game spirit
Mystic: Tinkaton is overrated
Tinkaton: So, you've chosen violence.
2:24 EXCUSE ME?? The downsides can be so easily mitigated with Protect lol, and when you do that, it's an insanely powerful Dragon move with pretty much no drawbacks.
As someone who’s favourite Pokémon as a kid was Mankey, I’m just happy my angry boi got some love. It being a decent Pokémon was just a bonus.
Oh he's not just decent he's broken
I adore Mankey also, but found it lost a lot of its charm when it evolved & never felt finished to me.
Thankfully that has changed & I can see myself using it a lot in future games. It looks badass & is actually good.
I’d say cyclizar is so good at shed tail not because it can keep shed tail up but because it can safely bring in its teammates. Even if the substitute breaks, you safely brought in a threatening Pokémon and it’s easier to safely do because of its speed stat
Skeledirge is my most overrated Pokémon, it has no coverage moves outside of Earth Power, & while Unaware is good when paired with Torch Song, it can’t use that combo because it’s Speed stat is abysmal
While the Meowscarada & Quaquavel have seemingly endless coverage moves & have the Protean & Moxie abilities respectively as their hidden abilities
I’ve never seen anyone talk about scovillian outside out of the 1st day of release. So def not overrated
I wouldn't say Tinkaton is overrated more that it under performs in the comp scene. It's popularity I'd say is because of it's cool design and gimmick not so much how she performs in comp.
Kingambit is awesome
Gardevoir is solid but honestly it would be better if we just had the new pokemon instead of the old pokemon
I respect your opinions
PS: I don’t like tinkaton because it attacks corviknight, cetitan scovillian, ting-lu and wo-chen
Dude used baxcalibur for my playthrough guy was an absolute unit
Honestly when I first heard that they actually made a chili-based Grass/Fire Pokemon my mind instantly went to Xenoverse´s Scovile, which looked awesome and was a powerhouse.
...And we get Scovillain, which looks kinda lame apart from its two heads. I hoped for more from the very first official mon of this duo-type.
Calling it a "hammer wielding over lord" is going too far.
I won a local tournament with Scolvillain, he’s average in my opinion but I wouldn’t say overrated. Pepper boy is out here catching strays
Coming into this game I thought Annihilape would be my favourite.. but tinkaton was havin none of that
Baxcaliber has protect for the turn after glaive rush. Makes it a combo that can only be taken advantage of by feint and raging Bull.
So if you put protect on Braxcalibur, the negative effect of glaive rush goes away.
You leave the dragon types alone!!!
Meanie! Or someone will make a worst moments of mysticumbreon
This is a great list if you simply remove “overrated” from the entire conversation and title. Just top 10 fan favorite Pokémon is SV. Except gardevoir is entirely out of place either way
I mean I love Baxcaliber because it's just pokémon Godzilla even down to its signature move being influenced by Godzilla. I love it
Disagree on all of them except for Gardevoir. The first four are awesome, with Glaive Rush you can use protection or simply replace it with Dragon Claw, Scovillain has access to the ability Chlorophyll who makes it practically unstoppable after using Sunny Day.
I know what drew me to Baxcaliber is that I think this is the first game you can pretty reliably obtain the games pseudo legendary early in a playthrough. I had mine by gym 2 in my party, even if he didnt listen yet. Which is awesome, I basically had the team I wanted for the playthrough for like 98% of the game and that just doesnt really happen outside of you trading in mons from other games.
Same but with Cetitan, I went out of my way to catch doubles of all the Pokémon I wanted on my team so I could get eggs and start at lvl 1 for each, not even through my first gym and already have a Sco villain and cetitan
Hey mystic you must check out another Pokemon game it's playable but I don't think it's canon it's called Pokemon Brick Bronze if you try it u can make a best team for it and also beware because sometimes it gets deleted. Idk if u know that game
I love tinkatons design even tho it doesn't hit as hard as I think it should it's quite disappointing that Tinkaton isn't gonna be used in top vgc teams with such a cool design
“I am sorry, your opinion is invalid.” -🤖
I will forever stand by Gardevoir. It's been a staple since Gen 3 for me, since it literally won me Battle Frontier in Emerald. And now it's even gotten stronger with the Fairy typing and all that. Any game I can get a Ralts in, I try to get it as early as possible. I don't think it's overrated at all. It's correctly rated. Perhaps overused, but it's overused for a reason.
Scovillain's design is awful. I was so looking forward to a pepper pokemon but it just looks so bland. They should've based it off some of the hottest peppers' names (Carolina *Reaper*, Trinidad *Scorpion*, Naga *Viper*).
Baxcalibur's design would be neat if it had more back fins and not just the one.
I know you’re right about Tinkaton but I still put it in my top 3 Pokémon of all time 😭
*Does top 10 list*- has about 20 pokemon lol but Scovillain is a legit troll. I thought it was the first stage because I saw it before whatever it's pre-evo is (pretty forgettable) and I was excited and struggled as I trained it up to about level 55 before looking up when it evolves to find out it doesn't. I'm so mad they did us like that with the first grass/fire type.
You know you can just protect after using glaive rush right?
Or just use any other Dragon type move because this Pokémon is still really great without that move specifically, it's OU fot Christ's sake.
@@GoinGreninja
This Pokémon is dog shit without this move
Dragon claw is ass and outrage is unreliable
@@GravityIsFalling It's bad with Dragon Claw? First I heard of it. I was mostly talking about singles and even then, I play for fun, not for the glory of points. @@GravityIsFalling I see...Well, I guess I'll need to update my team some if need be. My Baxcalibur uses Dragon Claw for the sake of an Assault Vest.
another MU List with Gardi on it xP (Just poking fun, I promise! I love Gardi too)
With Maxcalibur, you can just use Protect the turn after you Glaive Rush…
I hope he talks about Tinkaton. It never worked for me, always gelt like it wasn't deal enough damage....in fact, a good number of Paldean mons felt like they were more defensive than offensive
In playthrough you DON'T ACTUALLY WANT one pokemon to cover all the possible types, cos it will end up overleveled and not at all fun to use. You want strong specialised mons. Single types work perfectly. For example, I wanted to use Dragapult and Dracovish on my team in Shield. Well, I wanted - I did it. But they could fit a little better if Dracovish was pure Water.
I think the psuodo legendary Pokemon need more variety.
Because we’ve already got enough Dragons? Preach it! Tyranitar and Metagross proved there can be a non-Dragon!
Tinkaton looks cool but I'm not a big fan because its stats are lackluster. If I need to rely on swords dance for it to be good I cant really see my self using it a lot.
You don't need to rely on Swords Dance to be good, you only need to Rely on Swords Dance if you are using tinkaton as an Attacker, its stats are better suited to being a SpDef tank with its good SpDEF and Decent speed, makes for an excellent Hazard setter

Nah, tinkaton is GOAT because I found two full odds shinies lol.
Undeserving of hype?
None other than mysticumbreon for being mean! Where’s my pitchfork…
Convergent evolution is 100% overrated. It's exactly what I was afraid it would be, just regional variants with slightly different lore to make it seem new
How is Cetitan, Scovillian, and Dudunsparce in the video while Gholdengo isn’t?
He mentioned it in a previous video. Gholdengo is only bad due to how hard he is to obtain, but one you have it, it's a solid mon. The other 3 aren't that good
@@manporo5865 But how does bad = overrated. Gholdengo is played so often but cetitan, scovillian, and dudunsparce aren’t played rarely or ever. Something can’t be overrated while barely anyone is playing it.
@@past2908 Cetitan was hype (one of the first released Pokémon) and played a lot in playthroughs if you go through some comment sections, Dundunsparce was memes mainly, and Scovillain was on a ton of teams (mine included) as seen in comment sections. Gholdengo was never any of these, it was just not worth for the main story due to the difficulty of evolving it which a lot of people have come to accept.
You’re wild for number 10 😂I can hear the pitch forks and torches prepping
Scovillain is pretty solid if you use the chlorophyll ability with sun bc then it can be a fast sweeper with both atk. And sp.atk. It could have def been better but it’s solid
It also has Moody.
The evos to old pokemon deserve the hype because nostalgia, just like seasoning in cooking, is a legit component of pokemon's appeal that can not be dismissed. And also Annihilape is a rare combination of not awful design and great competitive potential (let me rimind you of Dracovish or Landorus-T)
I love my baxcalibur loool but I didn’t know the repercussions of Glaive rush no wonder it keeps getting One hit KOd by the other team hahaha

Since Mystic loves this pokemon too much: Gardivior is the Most Overrated Non Gen 9 Pokemon.
The Gen 9 pokemon that's overrated is Meowscrarada. Like people hate on Incineroar but not Meowscrarada because both are Walking Dark Type Cat Furries.
