সবার প্রথমে আগে গাজর, বিন্স, পেঁপে, পেঁয়াজ, কাঁচা লঙ্কা ভালো করে ধুয়ে কেটে নিন। খুব ভালো হয় যদি কড়াইতে মাখন দিয়ে সবজি গুলো হাল্কা ভেজে নিতে পারেন। এরপর এতে তেজপাতা ও এলাচ ফোড়ন দিতে হবে।এরপর এতে গোটা গোলমরিচ দিতে হবে।
এরপর এতে চিকেন দিয়ে নুন ও গোলমরিচ দিয়ে প্রেসার কুকার এ দিয়ে দিন। পরিমাণ মতো একটু মাখন দিন. জল দিন এক থেকে দুই গ্লাস। এরপর গ্যাসের আচ বাড়িয়ে দিতে হবে।এরপর প্রেসার কুকারের ঢাকনা দিয়ে ২ থেকে ৩ টা সিটি পড়লে নামিয়ে গরম গরম পরিবেশন করুন চিকেন স্টু। ওপরে একটু মাখন ছড়িয়ে দিতে পারেন তাতে আরও স্বাদ বাড়বে।
