  • I picked up a Swift hockey stick, a new release recently to give it the full beer league bum testing and review. When it comes to sticks, I will put it through the ringer. So what does 150$ get you? Find out as Boomer 91 puts it to the test for honest feedback.

    I know it's not new and it has been out for a while but I would love to see your thoughts on the STX Surgeon RX3. It is one of, if not, my favorite stick of all time and I would love to see what you think of it. I think the shaft shape is so nice and I've hated having to go back to a traditionally shaped shaft after I broke mine.

      Hey Ben. I’ve seen them on sideline swap as I always wanted a halo so always look at the stx gear. I’ll keep my eye out as usually they decently cheap and I can throw into comparison videos.

    When's the QRE10 video coming out? How does it compare to the Trigger 6 Pro or LX Pro for your ratings?

    • @beerleaguebumhockeyreviews
      @beerleaguebumhockeyreviews  Před 2 lety +1

      I lost all footage of that sorry! Gonna address in a quick vid in a day or so. My comp crashed and lost 4 projects. I personally prefer the trigger 6 pro over it as the trigger seems to provide more pop on all shots. The qre10 is nice on quick wristers only and really lacks on snap and slap shots. Lxpro is also a much better all round stick. If I threw on my tier list would sit under the Rekker

    Saw the Rekker Element next to it in your side by side- was trying to stop the video to see what flex the Sherwood is but it was blurred. What is it?

    Alpha LX Pro at the very top? I thought we agreed on the FT4 Pro was the king of the hill 🤣

    • @beerleaguebumhockeyreviews
      @beerleaguebumhockeyreviews  Před 2 lety +2

      Ft4 pro is my gamer but since they are hard to find I also like the Lxpro. The biggest difference is the grip Lxpro is terrible and makes me go back to ft4 if one pops up.

    Lol trolling Russian spammers in your comments! Good review on a bargain stick - gives everyone a very good analysis something else to consider outside of the top tiered sticks. MVP award goes to your significant other for tagging along to your: league games, practice, pickup games AND getting behind the net when you hammer those slapshots!! Ask her if she's got a sister. Ha ha! Thanks again for the great content. Guys push to get Justin to 1000 subscribers!

      I know I have to delete them all the time so annoying! Thanks Owen. Always appreciate the support, I know right she’s a gem, couldn’t do it without her. I’ll feature her in a video one day haha. Unfortunately she does not have a sister lol man this video was a challenge. My comp crapped out and I lost a lot of content so a bit depressed about that and had to do this from less footage than I had so a bit of a bummer. Same with my playoff video. It’s gone. 12 hours of work. So overall the CZcams game can be frustrating!

    • @owenator
      @owenator Před 2 lety +1

      @@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews no problem! Your hard work, attitude, and sincerity deserves all the attention. Quite frankly you and Hockey Training should be the top two hockey CZcamsrs with the large subscribers. Just a suggestion/advice; purchase an SSD portable/external hard drive. Maybe 500 GB to 1 TB. Might be pricey but it's more secure than a computer that's always susceptible to glitches. Back it up first to the external hard drive (even if it's not an SSD drive) and then afterwards, back it up again to your computer. It's time-consuming but, I've lost count how many times how it's saved my data. And for what it's worth - the content was still excellent....no need to be discouraged! Hope you're doing well in the playoffs so far! And as for the significant other, maybe do a celebration credit with a special appearance when you get to 5000K or 10000K subscribers! Get some sleep buddy, you went to bed late after uploading and now you're up early again (I know you're out in the West Coast)!

      @@owenator haha yep this video crashed and messed up and I was so mad so spent another few hours least getting it out. Lost the playoff video I’ll do a small one with an update just to get an update only. 3 videos lost which is why my last two weeks was quiet. I appreciate it man I will look into that right away. I’m terrible with computers so was all flustered 😫 hockey training is excellent love his videos. I still have to learn how to market and all that this is just a fun hobby but after a few reach outs from people and companies thinking more serious these days

      @@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews all good. It still came out fantastic. There's a free video editing program called DaVinci Resolve that's extremely great when you have more content/more subscribers that you can use to help with the video editing with all the fancy editing and tools and effect. Maybe ask the missus? She might be better at that kind of stuff lol! I'm not that great either but then again; I haven't spent the time to actually go through the program since I don't really need it. That's awesome news that companies + people are reaching out to you! Congratulations Justin! Your channel has huge potential, just keep plugging away at it. Who knows? Maybe you can do it full time and do the stuff you love doing just by simply playing hockey but providing completely unbiased feedback!

    I love your videos but boy are you cocky. You play on all these teams and you’re a ringer. Everyone just gets the puck to you and you carry the team. I guess that’s why you’re so cocky but accuracy is subjective. I never understand why people even talk about accuracy because it all about the shooter and not the stick. I just don’t see how a stick can help you be more accurate. Lol.

    • @beerleaguebumhockeyreviews

      All good man appreciate the candid feedback. I’ll tone it down no worries. Also I hand pick those highlights of course for videos. Games don’t all go like that. I’m just not gonna put bad highlights in a video. However in terms of sticks, a soft taper or blade can affect accuracy. Not as much any more as sticks improve but theirs been some bad ones. Anyway appreciate it man feedback is all good 👊
