JULY 2017 - My wife and I live in Bangkok, but we took a trip to Munich Germany. One of the most affordable airlines that has plenty of flights connecting Asia and Europe is Emirates Airlines.
Emirates has consistently been rated as one of the best airlines in the world. We flew economy class, and thanks to baby Micah we had pretty good seats in the front with nice legroom.
We first flew from Bangkok to Dubai, with a layover at Dubai International Airport, and then on from Dubai to Bangkok.
The food on Emirates economy class is pretty decent. It doesn't have that real artificial taste you get on some airplane food.
Staff was ok, but not amazing on our flight. But overall, very nice airplanes, and good flight all the way to Munich.

Hey Deborah, thank you very much, no problem at all. I'l originally from the US, but my mother is Chinese. Ying is Thai, but has Chinese mixed in her as well. We met in Bangkok and got married in 2013, so now we're based in Bangkok, but usually travel from there. Thank you for your support and hope you're having a great day!

👍 Mark is the only CZcamsr who doesn't really complain about travel or airline food. Sure, you know when he doesn't like something but he's never super negative. I mean it's just airplane food. I stopped watching one travel vlogger because he's *always* complaining about air travel and food when he's not sponsored for first or business class and stuck in economy. It's hilarious. Kudos to Mark and Ying for positive upbeat travel videos.
I think it's because he has a wide range of experience from crappy places/ food to really nice lux places. If you're just used to nice things you kinda get spoiled and forget to appreciate the little things in life. Plus he's adventurous and very open minded to new even uncomfortable experiences.

Tosh T Thats true. You can tell from him he was not happy.. Actually, Mark is very nice to say the least bec I flew with Emirates 1 week ago of 15 hrs flight and their service went down. Overrated. I flew one business class and economy and there are no difference between two. Flight crew looks tired and as much as possible to avoid you if they can. Food went downwards for the last 4 yrs. Ive been flying with them for the last 12 yrs and you really can tell the gap. So far Qatar is top of the line for now. I hope Emirates will try to catch up and get to their top like before. Its my favorite airline but lately its so dissapointing... :(
I flew with emirates 4-6 times a year for the past 4 years (and less frequently before that) and I've had what he's had for breakfast a couple of times, enough for me to say that the breakfast on Emirates really sucks. They should really improve their breakfast. Even low cost carriers like Air Asia have better food than them at this point. The spinach is almost always some sort of blackened mushy mess and the eggs makes you really gassy >.< I always make sure to buy food prior to boarding so I can eat that when i'm hungry, which is a much healthier and tastier alternative. Their dinners are better, but then again it depends which country you are flying to.

Ying is such a lovely lady. She always supports Mark and I've never seen her complain or get angry about anything. All a man needs is a women like that to be successful. ❤️❤️❤️

Every time I feel down I always watch Mark and it makes me feel joyful of my life and appreciative.
Hi Mark, if you ask for special assistance beforehand when making the booking then Emirates will put that into their system. Then you and your lovely family will check in at Emirates customer assistance desk. No queuing and they will help you through security and immigration. On arrival in Dubai airport you will be taken down to an area for old people and young families . That area has lots of seats, recliners and plenty toilets. And taken back to the plane when it is time to go and allowed to get on early.

One of the main things i like about this channel and Mark is that he is always smiling and happy even if things are simple he gives me positive energy and shows me that yo don't have to do/have fancy things to be happy even small things can make you happy, also he doesn't complain about anything even if he didn't like it, this is one of the main reasons why i subscribed to this channel

I love your flight and food reviews! Next time you should try preodering your meal on these flight. I've travelled through Emirates all my life and even though I'm not a vegetarian we always ordered the Asian vegetarian meal onboard it was always fantastic. Mostly Indian food but sometimes we even go noodles and stuff.

I live in London and since 1986 I have only travelled on Emirates on long haul. My Dad was a captain in PIA and then joined Emirates in 1986 and retired in 2007.

I liked Emirates and thought it was good, but Korean Air gets my vote for #1... That Airbus A-380 is the largest passenger plane in the world at this time...depending on configuration it holds over 500 passengers on two levels... My flight from JFK was delayed several hours and I couldn't make the connecting flight to Phuket so they put me up in a hotel with meal vouchers..Took a tour of the city...what an amazing experience...thanks for the video!

I flew with Emirates twice and both the times I experienced that the service was not good at all. The cabin crew treats passengers as they are doing favor on us. Food is also not so good. Emirates if you're listening, please don't take your customers for granted. It would take you nowhere.
Totally agree. I had same experience, crew is appalling, both on the plane and at check-in, not recommended.

Emirates is NOT an airline. They are an advertising platform for investment / tourism in the U.A.E.
No U.S airline bought the a380, but emirates ordered half of them. Airlines prioritize customer service and profitability. Emirates prioritizes attraction and influence. I never fly Emirates.
