Just wanted to reach out and say I have found all of your videos extremely helpful as a new caravan owner. Cheers Legends.

Roller rocker , why not go bush! All caravans before all this fancy expensive suspension went all over Aus, when the roads were way worse.

Just a little comment, it is spelt 'dual' not 'duel' which is a fight between two people.

Jeb you started out well explaining the old toggle leaf spring suspension is load sharing, but failed to mention that nearly all independent tandem axle suspensions with coil springs are not load sharing (air bag type excluded). Why is this important? , the tow ball height is much more critical and this should be explained to new customers. Too low a tow ball height, the van rides up on the front axle which will cause sway because there is reduced tow ball download.

We actually have a new video on the importance of towing a level van coming up in a couple weeks 👍

Small gramatical point in your title/thumbnail. It should be DUAL not DUEL. Duel = pistols etc.

Thanks Jeb, as always excellent overview. I notice when turning a dual axle caravan the wheels flex and are at odd angles. Is this normal with independent suspension?

Yes this is normal for tandem axle caravans.

Hi Jeb, can I ask about the Country Road Suspension. Can this handle corrugated gravel roads for extended periods of is it just for short periods? Will the smaller shock absorbers overheat or is there some other limitation. Are there any guidelines on the limitations of the CR Suspension. Love your videos they are always informative.

On the Cruisemaster website they state that the CRS is capable of running on corrugations and mild rock crawling for short spells only.
