I have had several Decathalons, wrecked all of them eventually, good thing they were 1/6th scale R/C aircraft.
Can't imagine flying a full size aircraft in aerobatic mode, it's probably easier than R/C in terms of controls, everything changes when flying from the ground, ailerons reverses, rudder reverses, it takes some mental gymnastics to get it right.
Looks like fun though, beautiful place to fly.

I'm an RCer turned full scale. There's a lot of transference especially when it comes to wind drift and maneuver geometry
