Adam is such a mensch! The writers created a great character in him.
BONANZA was always at it Best with the 3 brother's.
I can really appreciate Adams response when he learns his fiance has fallen in love with his cousin Will. Why can't more men be like that instead of losing their heads and start shooting. And proved to be a very honorable man. Adam was great.

then the cousin Will steals her heart away, backstabber is there any respect for others these days or then. just a note he was set up to fail from the director of Bonanza never one cartwright can be married ever in the storyline.

Yep I think you're right. Laura's actually kind of a complicated woman. Adam was simply trying to surprise her. I don't believe that Laura really down deep loved Adam with all of her heart. But you have to follow your heart too.
