Do you need to do any booking for the coaster beforehand or on the spot there? Also is it better to book a one day trip to Shahdag from Baku via a tour operator or its easy on our own?
Roller coaster can be booked on the spot. No need to do any advance booking. If you are planning to do a day trip, go via a tour company. They have experience and they are really good and take to all the places on the way. Let us know if you need any assistance in the same
How much it costs for shahdag trip ? Just like gabala trip u said 350 manat by cab .

What is the admission ticket to shahdag mountain resort and the roller coaster ride?
If you take the roller coaster ride in tandem, it would cost 40 AZN for 2 people. For single ride, it costs 25 AZN
Shahdag Mount resort does not have any admission ticket, it's a hotel. You can visit the place even if you don't have booked a room here
what was the cost of car from baku to shadag and did u kept car for all days in shahdag
Hi Kavin, the cab dropped us on one day and picked us after 2 days. Basically we stayed in Shahdag for 2 nights and the driver didn't stay with us the whole time. Also, you don't need driver to stay there with you as there's nothing else apart from thr Shahdag Tourism center. It costed us INR 15000 which we booked on the expensice side. If you do a day trip, you can easily find a taxi in around INR 10000. Also, you can do self drive which will be cheaper if you are comfortable.

If we want to choose between Gabala or Shagdag, then which one is must visited place. Please guide.
We r going for only 4 days, so can't do both things.
We would recommend to visit Shahdag. We stayed there for 2 nights but you can also do day trip to Shahdag. Lots of travel agencies arrange this and you can easily book this by asking your hotel or companies in old town. Mountain roller coaster is the highlight of Shahdag but there are also other activities at the shahdag tourism centre. Also, you can check out our gabala vlog both part 1 and 2 to get better understanding of what these places have to offer.

Is it the only coster ride in shahdag?
Do we need to book our stay in that resort and then only we can do coster ride?
Hi Mohit,
In shahdag, there is only one tourism center which has the roller coaster ride and other activities like zip lining and quad biking and snow sports during winter months. Nothing else there apart from the tourism center and luxurious stays.

It's summer in June so you won't find any snow but the roller coaster ride is still going on. You won't experience snow sports but can enjoy all the other things

actually my son's 10th birthday on 21 December and i m planing to celebrate that in baku so what's your suggestion to go in last of December
Sorry we missed this comment. Around 2nd week of December should also be a good time. You will enjoy snow and Christmas market and weather would be very good as well. The more you approach Christmas, the expensive it'll get. I would say planning in 2nd to 3rd week should be perfect for your trip. Let us know for any other comments
