This plant is so beautiful. I had no idea this is used for food and I live in Southeast Asia. This is great news, coz this is apparently just common.

Thanks for the video. I’m in Lakeland. I now have your website bookmarked, and my husband and I will be purchasing a few things in the near future.

He has nursery, where? Where is this, I live near Seminole and beaches, have lots of small trees, want to get tons and many varieties, take cuttings trade plants, buy sell, air layer, learn to graft so can have many types in less than half acre, what grows in shade of live oak that can eat? Know of organization or club can exchange seeds, plants, learn cell culture and propagation? Subscribed, thanks!

Thanks for the video. Can I ask a question? There is another type of galangal called galgant or alpina officinarium. Is the taste and aroma different to galangal (alpina galanga)? Thanks

Get some fresh rhizomes from an Asian market and plant them just under the surface of potting soil in a pot.

I was making a joke. You highlighted what you needed to to answer that person's question. Text is funny that way.
