I got mine for 1800 new. It was in October and they wanted to get rid of inventory. I drove from Ann Arbor mich to zainsville Ohio to get it and it was worth it. I absolutely love it.
Oooooh you got a deal of the century 💪🏽🎣!!! Guaranteed it’s not going to happen again 😮💨!! I would drive that distance if I saw that deal too, glad you love it though, let’s get more people into this underdog motorized kayak 👊🏽!
@@flimmaytinstone8980I’m thinking about doing the same! I know one of my homies @YakBassNC8970 has a Humminbird one and I think he’s loving it right now! I know eventually I will get one, especially for crappie and sheepshead fishing.
Man you missing out on the ap. If you love the one you have you will be in love with the ap. Its night and day there is no comparison. The 106 is tiny compared to the 120/136. That spot lock is no joke and is well worth the extra money.
Yeah I would LOVE a 120 Powered by Minn Kota, but I guess that’s why Old Town has that AutoPilot 120 and AutoPilot 136 🤷🏽♂️. You don’t get any extra width with the longer kayaks though, just a bit more carrying capacity. Which 300lbs+ is quite a lot of carrying capacity even for this 10’6” long 37” wide kayak! Appreciate it bro 👊🏽
Nice video! thank you, i.m still deciding on the AP or the 106 MK I like the room of the 106 and I could put it in the back of my truck. Would the 106 be good in tournaments?
Does anyone recommend this as a first kayak? For someone older, and weighing 200 lbs. I just want to be on the water without owing my soul to the bank.
Well see Old Town thought about everything when they did this kayak, the kayak is built around the motor so it’s perfectly balanced (insert Thanos meme 😆). When you add on a motor to any kayak that isn’t factored in from the factory, the balance will be off, unless it’s a bixpy motor dropped in the pedal hole of a vibe, hobie, or lightning kayak. Just imagine not knowing anything about kayaks or adding a motor to a kayak, this kayak is ready to go and fish after you add in a battery and register it. Plus a lifetime warranty on the hull and wiring & a 2 year warranty on the motor with the BEST customer service in the industry, and that’s me witnessing it through a friend before I got on the pro staff 🙌🏽.
That kayak is a beast! 🔥🔥
It really is 💪🏽🎣, it’s such an underdog compared to the AP120!! The simplicity is what I LOVE 😍
Just got mine 3 days ago! AWESOME Yak.
💪🏽🎣 AWESOME!!! I’m glad you’re loving it!! People really do sleep on the 106MK vs the AP120!

Same here! Picked one up for $2K out the door. Old stock, last years model. Can't wait to get it out. Drove 6 hrs to pick it up and 6 hrs back home.
Decked out in the Old Town drip! That kayak looks like a good time on the water!
I gotta represent the company that treats me very well!! 💪🏽🤩🎣
Definitely worth it. I love my kayak. I wouldn't trade it for any kayak on the market.

Man they need that in a 12.5 for us big dudes but great video
There is a a 120 version as well as a 132. (12ft and 13ft)

@@Jay2Country man you hav to get yourself down here some day before these old bones stop working. Or we can meet in Beaufort for a fishout
I got the paddle version 106 discounted at $999
And got the spotlock xi3
Hopefully the savings is worth it
One of my fishing buddies put the xi3 on a flint. He's a big dude but personally I'd put the xi3 on an old Town paddle too. Better stability

Glad I went this route. Savings vs old town sport lock yak is a plus!!

Not worth it. Just buy a nucanoe or bonifide and add a spotlock motor for way less than old town
