I love that despite all the varying animation styles, it's just universally accepted that Arin is pink and Danny is blue.
It's both their favorite colors.
I imagine the people who participated in this project agreed to some basic guidelines(e.g. The colors dan and arin would be, certain transitions, etc) to make the animations flow together better. Ive participated in multi animator projects before and they usually have guidelines like that

9:50 This is my favorite part, the way they did Dan curled up on the couch hugging his pillow was so perfect. Sometimes the small touches are what really humanize an animation.

@@MortusSweet when I say secondary hair movement, I'm referring to how when an animated character shakes or moves their head, their hair moves as well, but not just with the movement of the head, of that makes sense. You know how irl hair will swing back and forth from a single head movement, or get messed up by wind and other things? That's what I'm referring to. I don't know if that's the proper term for it, since I am NOT an animator, but that's what I've always called it. Hope that helps...

While I would have loved for at least one scene to be animated by Egoraptor himself I really appreciate the work that Arin provides to these artists as well as the exposure he's giving them. You can truly tell he really cares about animators and sharing so many animation styles this way is spectacular. This entire video is probably one of my favorite GameGrumps videos of all time. I'm looking forward to checking out most of these channels.

The animation at 2:46 (Eora & Renee Violet) is SO FUCKING SMOOTH. I rewatched that single part at least ten times just admiring the detail, the lip sync, the fluidity of the hand movement, the expressions, just everything! It's so well done. Absolutely gorgeous!!

Can I just say, the animation at 9:39 is so well done. They move just how you would expect real people to, but it still has that cartoony kinda feel. Arin and Dan are also SO emotive, even though they're both pretty much silent. You can honestly tell what they're thinking and feeling at any given moment.

Damn I felt the exact same way. I like Nic Ter Horst's animations normally but definitely missed an opportunity to go all out there. Penniless ragamuffin did an excellent one a few years back, it's pretty rough animation but it's so good, so I just replaced the scene mentally with that
The animator, Dudul was SUPER creative in being able not only to create beautiful animations, but to consider the bear as a continuous character in the story, being in golf and as a psychiatrist for his NUMBER ONE ENEMY. It's freaking hilarious, and so creative. Love it!

This is a little late to the party, but I have to say, my favorite part of this whole video is the end credits with all the animators. The reason why is because it shows just how great the Game Grumps community is to have so many talented animators, professional or otherwise, collaborate on a video like this. I won't lie, it brings a bit of a tear to my eye. I'm so proud to be part of this community, and I hope it continues for many years to come.
