- UPDATE: I'm 18 now and I think I ACTUALLY care way less about people's opinions now. It HAS BEEN a journey but yeah it feels great to be here :)
I wanted to document in this video what it's like to give a shit about people's opinions and how that made me feel. Hopefully, that resonates with you and makes you feel more heard and seen.
And I feel I grew up a lot since then.
I'm fully aware that the execution of this video is not very good. But, still I'm proud of who I was, who I'm now, and who I'll be:))))

Excellent words, Hakim :) I don't think not giving a fuck is the best approach to life though. I would still consider people's opinions but would never take it personal.
I mean hearing people's opinion is kinda unavoidable i think! But i guess we can decide wether we wanna give it a lot of mental space or not❤ what matters i think is that we trust our choices finally❤❤

People's opinions and expectations never made me change who i was but i did struggled with depression and the fact that i knew that the "myself" was not approved by my loved ones was definitly a factor in there. I overcame it alreafy but that dissaproval still is kinda frustrating :/

Well I have struggled with depression before too! So i can relate! And I guess it took us to reconnect with ourselves on a deeper level in a way that we just fuck off from people's opinion❤
@@hakimpoetry you are right :) it actually did a good thing for me (besides getting stronger as a person and finding who i was, of course) it totally removed expectations from me! i'm really grateful for that honestly...i mean, it gets kinda frustrating the fact that everyone around has them but whatever...
