2003 Whirlpool washer Ultimate Care II: Washing bed sheets, throw blanket, and small quilt

This is a 2003 Whirlpool direct drive washing machine that was purchased used in 2016 when our "smart" washer broke and the repair exceeded the value of the machine. This machine does have a faulty transmission, sometimes the neutral drain works, and some times the tub will spin and drain at the same time. Also sometimes I have to push the tub slightly to engage the clutch so the tub will spin. Other then that the machine works great. I do plan on filming more videos of this machine in the future as well as some other machines. Hopefully someday this machine will get a new transmission and clutch and will work properly once again.

Detergent used: Xtra mountain rain
Fabric softener used: Downy, and then a bounce dryer sheet in the dryer

Even with that full load it did a great job!

It sure did. I'm currently in the process of getting it fixed so It will spin on its own again and not have to have any assistance lol

I had a new Maytag HE set, dealt with it for about a week, store wouldn't take it back, so I sold on Let go, bought a WP Ultimate Care II DD machine and matching dryer, I'm almost done with a complete overhaul of the machine (refurbished transmission, new motor... everything.) Funny thing is that even spending $$ to overhaul the DD machine, I still have NOT spent as much as the POS Maytag set cost me... This set will probably still be going in 15-20 years
