Multilingual Kavi Darbar | KCP | 2024

Khalsa College Patiala’s Department of Hindi and Other Languages organized a multi-lingual Kavi Darbar for the students in which the students presented their original works. 18 students presented their poems in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu and English languages in this Kavi Darbar. Iqbal Hussain commenced the program with Punjabi Sufi Kalam. At the end of the program, the head of the Hindi department and the vice principal of the college Dr.Harvinder Kaur, while thanking all the students and teachers, also encouraged the students to read good books. She said that to become a good poet, it is important that we read the works of famous poets because when we have good ideas, we will also understand how to write a ghazal or poem, then only we can become a good poet or writer. In this program Dr. Jaspreet Kaur Head of English Department, Dr. Anju Khullar Head Chemistry Department, Prof. Jagroop Kaur, Dr. Davinder Singh, Dr. Tajinder Pal Singh, Dr. Gurveer Singh, Dr. Malkit Kaur, Prof. Amandeep Singh, Prof. Manpreet Kaur, S. Pritpal Singh, and Dr. Muhammad Yusuf were also present. The responsibility of managing the stage was performed very well by students Tarandeep Kaur and Harpinder Singh. Students of different departments of the college were also present on this occasion.
