Right ?? I love DancingBacons,,,,what part of Canada? My ex husband ( whom I'm still good friends with) is from Ontario,,,orillia to be exact ! Much love from Arizona!
@@Lovestruckxoxo420 ahhhh BEAUTIFUL part of Canada!!! Honestly everywhere I've traveled around this world my favorite trip and people were in canada ,,,,gorgeous country ,and the sweetest most hospitable people I've ever met .
I really like this chef's "no bull*hit" style of teppanyaki cooking. Straight to the point and with logic. Nothing like those pretentious teppanyaki restaurants that call themselves "high end" just because they charge you an arm and a leg serving you a little piece of Wagyu beef and cooking you a single asparagus and half a potato for fifteen minutes making everything else cold, all to the sound of stock western classical music.
The price is better, but this is less precise by far. There’s under and over cooking. It’s less clean and the technique is much sloppier. Not saying that makes the others better, but there’s a noticeable difference.
Hey bacon and smiling lady I'm back again your videos are still going great I love them and love you guys I always smile when ur vids go up thank you so much for .aking me happy when I see them❤
It’s a food court I understand that. However, I thought teppanyaki was meant to be an elegant preparation of the food? Service on foil sheets and no clearing of the grill surface seem a little grim.
that just what happens to most things when you bring to singapore and drop the cost to a fraction of what it should be... and in this covid period, it looks even more grim.
From google, nothing about being elegant, just a cooking style: Teppanyaki is a post-World War II style of Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle to cook food. The word teppanyaki is derived from teppan, which is the metal plate which it is cooked on and yaki, which means grilled, broiled, or pan-fried.
It’s after 6 in the morning here in California and I don’t want breakfast, I want all this delicious looking food! I might share with the hubby! Lol 😁💖
In comparison to other Teppanyaki videos this one was a quite dirty grill plate. Don't they usually wash it clean after every dish they cook? Even the tools looked crusty... Food itself looked fine though.
Dakarn Shellfish allergies and peanut allergies are an American thing. Asians got too much pride and other shit going on to make up some bullshit allergy to whine about
No, no my friends that counter needed some serious cleaning! To early to be eating at places like that with no vaccine of corona not availabe yet. Stay safe and be always cautious.
im pretty sure that "counter" (its a grill) gets hot enough to kill bacteria and destroy the virus. plus it would be too hot throughout the day to clean it since metal and just about everything takes time to cool down. singapore isnt america. its handled the pandemic extremely well considering asian countries usually make a habit out of not getting everyone else sick by washing their hands and wearing masks and staying home when they can. if this where america it would be a big deal because america is a hot mess but this is singapore and its not that big of a deal. aware not anxious.
I love this channel and all they do but I’m curious if they are gonna do more teppanyaki videos. I know Aden films does a lot of these types of videos but I enjoy that DB shows and tells you about each piece of food and gives little insights about the taste. Maybe a little friendly competition or collab between the two channels would be pretty cool down the road. Also the food looks amazing! Great video y’all!

3:55 That is some Gordon Ramsay level definition of "pinch of salt".
Its probably seasoning
or it's MSG (salt on crack)
It`s probably garlic powder. Later in a video Bacons describes the lettuce as "garlicky".
@@SpicyMeatAhBall its salt to sweat the vegetable
To stuff like cabbage and lettuces you need to add a ton of salt to draw the water out I think?
That new camera is awesome. Those shots were so good that I almost felt like I was there. I can't smell the food here in my house though.
And to think, I was happy with having Sbarro’s at my food court. I’m ruined now.

i mean salt cabbage like wtf
I mean if you are paying it for less than 20% its original cost, i think most people can forgive the less 'fancy' aspect of the meal.
