This is an interesting video. I always encourage anyone who is able bodied to serve at least one time. The skills and character that you can develop is second to none, and the bonds that you build are worth more than most. I'm a vet, from a line of servicemen. The military is certainly different from when I served, but it's core is still strong.
I was remembering Canadas submarine fiasco when we bought subs from the UK that were essentially garbage when I saw that North Korea was first. I thought to myself "yeah do they work though?" lol
We also have 9 lightning carriers which is basically a strip of runway on the ocean. And also our navy may be outnumbered in sheer number of boats but the amount of tonnage we have in the water is nearly double that of China's navy that claims being the largest.

@wpriddy exactly I spent 28.6yrs in the Army and recently retired in 2023. I know all of their classified technologies, and they are way ahead of the US in what we classify as critical areas.

To an extent. A very old axiom of war is, "Quantity is a quality all its own." Having a million rounds in your arsenal doesn't mean much if the enemy sends two million troops. So having a standing professional force means you needs to have an answer to overwhelming quantity from the enemy. The US had to learn that harsh lesson when the Chinese send wave after wave of human walls against the US during the Korean war. Many times we reached a point where there were no bullets left to send and it devolved into hand to hand combat.
But what if an EMP bomb is dropped something like more than one and everything electrical in the country doesn't work anymore you know things like airplanes and navy boats tanks what are you going to do then
Why would Trump want to get us out of NATO? This video clearly emphasized the value of being a part of the largest alliance. Trump wanting to get us out of NATO only benefits Putin and China. Trump has also said he will dismantle the FBI and DOJ. Both of these help keep America safe from terrorist threats. He has also said he would suspend parts of the Constitution. This is the greatest country because of our Constitution and the freedoms we have. I'm America born and raised but moved overseas ten years ago. Only now I appreciate America and I took for granted what I had.
This is an interesting video. I always encourage anyone who is able bodied to serve at least one time. The skills and character that you can develop is second to none, and the bonds that you build are worth more than most. I'm a vet, from a line of servicemen.
The military is certainly different from when I served, but it's core is still strong.
Lol, North Korea naval numbers probably include fishing boats in total numbers, and sunk fishing boats as submarines.
I was remembering Canadas submarine fiasco when we bought subs from the UK that were essentially garbage when I saw that North Korea was first. I thought to myself "yeah do they work though?" lol

We also have 9 lightning carriers which is basically a strip of runway on the ocean. And also our navy may be outnumbered in sheer number of boats but the amount of tonnage we have in the water is nearly double that of China's navy that claims being the largest.

Russian military equipment is being frankenstiened to keep what little they have "running" because they didn't bother to keep it up to date or maintained. And that was before going to war with Ukraine. And other than our allied nations, you can bet that the equipment is at least 3 gen behind the US. At least. I saw this analogy the other day, the World is playing the game Civilization on Deity difficulty against the US while the US is playing on Chieftain. Short of Skynet takeover or the US imploding on itself, there isn't really anything the rest of the World can do unless nukes get involved and no one wants to play that game... rattle the cage, looking at you Russia, but not actually play those cards. See my first comment about Russia and their maintenance and guess how much I'm worried about the actual threat.

@wpriddy exactly I spent 28.6yrs in the Army and recently retired in 2023. I know all of their classified technologies, and they are way ahead of the US in what we classify as critical areas.
Russia and China would have to cross an ocean with troops. They would all die on the seas before they got 1/4 of the way here.

In regards to naval vessels, the US doesn’t count every canoe and fishing vessel as a war ship. Compare the tons of displacement and it’s a very diffrent number.
We might not have soldiers but we have real men building planes tanks and ships that can literally destroy everything on this planet
Wars are NOT fought with huge numbers of personnel anymore. So the number of soldiers doesn't matter all that much.
To an extent. A very old axiom of war is, "Quantity is a quality all its own." Having a million rounds in your arsenal doesn't mean much if the enemy sends two million troops. So having a standing professional force means you needs to have an answer to overwhelming quantity from the enemy. The US had to learn that harsh lesson when the Chinese send wave after wave of human walls against the US during the Korean war. Many times we reached a point where there were no bullets left to send and it devolved into hand to hand combat.
But what if an EMP bomb is dropped something like more than one and everything electrical in the country doesn't work anymore you know things like airplanes and navy boats tanks what are you going to do then
They fail to mention that our citizens own guns.

Why would Trump want to get us out of NATO? This video clearly emphasized the value of being a part of the largest alliance. Trump wanting to get us out of NATO only benefits Putin and China. Trump has also said he will dismantle the FBI and DOJ. Both of these help keep America safe from terrorist threats. He has also said he would suspend parts of the Constitution. This is the greatest country because of our Constitution and the freedoms we have. Your vote for Trump is more of a vote for a dictator like Putin than it is a patriotic leader who will support and maintain our great country.
