I have a small coterie of foreign white buddies I hang out with--but largely I like to avoid 'furriners' wherever I go--not sure why. Dumaguete is rife with foreigners--and there is a type that I do avoid assiduously--those with baseball caps, a huge distended belly, and quick to espouse their political views. My own politics are a bit in flux I'll admit.
