Beautiful thing this machine. This one here at home ! for now the pinball fx Zen studios is good. Miss the pinball times in the 80s and 90 in Playtime in Brazil.
I guess that's what happened to Victoria from the Who Dunnit pinball machine, in that game "she treated everybody else like DIRT". Now in this game, she is an angel conscience who is also trapped in a junkyard surrounded with trash AND DIRT along with you and some demonized conscience who now treats HER like DIRT! ...........WOW...talk about too much of her own medicine!
The design of the characters on the DMD are the same design used in my favorite pinball machine, Who Dunnit. A good example is the angel character, who looks almost like Victoria.
I never played it, but I like the concept of collecting junk to build a flying jalopy to fly into outer space. I also like the artwork, rules, video mode, call-outs, just basically the game's theme and personality alone. As for the table, .....well...it's alright looking, but by a LONG-SHOT not my type of playfield layout at all, which is something I'd expect since I'm not a big fan of Barry Oursler designs.
I’ll be honest, sometimes I don’t Understand why you would pick the Hair Dryer as the 1st junk. I pick The TV/Weather Vane as the 1st junk so I can keep playing Run from Spike. It’s easier in my opinion, and getting the junk items to start adventures as the priority before anything else is a big boost. My best score is something like 100+Million.
Unfortunately yes. Pinball Arcade owes a lot to Visual Pinball (which is free). Unfortunately, VP9 changed nudging so that you could change the direction of the ball, even if it wasn't touching anything, and Pinball Arcade followed suit.
+Pasha Bykov Yep, it also has references to Creature from the Black Lagoon (Move Your Car), The Addams Family (Mamushka, which getting multiball during is a good way to rack up points early), and an unnamed "Knight Mission" round (supposedly it was meant to reference a pinball game that ended up never being released but was planned to when Junkyard came out, and if you'd played Junkyard in the first few years it was out, the time machine would actually go forward). Early versions of the machine also had a Terminator 2 round where all 4 ramps and the crane scored 1 million, and you'd get 10 million if you hit all 5. It ended up being removed as the point values it awarded versus the other Time Machine rounds was totally unbalanced. There's also supposed to be a way to use a smart bomb on the AFM Video Mode, but it can't be done on TPA as it involves the start button, and there's no way to hit the start button in TPA. There is also rumored to be a hidden extra one if you hit the shot, hold both flippers, and the internal clock in the machine is 3:33, but I've not seen that replicated.
Just yesterday, I was shooting randomly in Junkyard and activated a mode called "Midnight Madness". The table drained my ball and flashed almost all the lights while playing a few clock sounds. After that, said "Midnight Madness" started and was apparently a 4-ball multiball mode. From what I read online, the machine's internal clock struck midnight (the clock seems to be synced with my computer's clock, btw) and hence started said mode. It appears to be available one some other tables as well. (I should mention I'm not sure if any of the shot's hit the time machine objective or if I even had the coockoo clock)
I found a white water,a attack from Mars,a creature from the black lagoon reference and finally a firepower reference. I've heard that their is a reference to a pinball machine that was never released too.
Love this game, one thing the virtual version can’t quite replicate is the fear from the wrecking ball accidentally smacking up against the glass lol
The wrecking ball is a lot more chaotic in FX3 and FX, respectively.
8:22 “What does she know anyway…”
I like this table for the personality alone.
Agreed!

26:21 Reference to White Water? "Anybody got a light?"

One of my all-time favorite pinball machines. Thanks for posting!

1:17 Totally Cool Bob! Is that what I think he said?
9:38
WE MAKIN' IT OUTTA THE DRIVE-IN WITH THIS ONE 🗣️🗣️🔥🔥
Actually, there's a Mamushka game here.
Best pinball game ever
I pushed so many quarters into this machine.
c'mon c'mon c'mon hurry hurry hurry!
This game machine is probaly more steep right? Cause I feel the ball is heavier.
The saucer video mode is from attack from mars
Yeah, during that time machine mode they have three events referencing three tables: Attack from Mars, Creature from Black Lagoon, and Adam's Family.
Do you know someone with the last name of Angel? I think I know you.
Looks like nudging changes the direction of the ball.

1:54 refrence to Attack from Mars table?
Pasha Bykov Yep.
***** the time machine has a lot of refences to other tables even the tables you haven't played yet especially at 9:38
Pasha Bykov Because CftBL is too easy. Tournament Mode should change that.

Those are some hungry outlanes.
