These are the kind of parents that their child would clearly get hit by a drunk driver and while they’re at the hospital, she’ll tell the doctor “It’s because of those damn video games he’s always playing” and would stand her unfounded ground even as the licensed professional calls her an idiot for thinking so.

It's not great money in the US despite it sounding like a good amount. Taxes, food, insurance, and bills are at such an extreme high that you might as well be making $7 an hour. It's gotten to the point where you need a college degree just to get a job that allows you to barely scrape by.

@@NaulorrGamesIn the US, $17 an hour is pretty bad in pretty much every state because of inflation. $17 an hour used to be fantastic money for a lot of states but it's to the point now where you need at least $30 an hour to be able to pay monthly bills and buy groceries for the week. I can't imagine how bad it is in New York or California.

Damn that's weird, you guys Pizza Hut and Domino's are backwards from mine. Domino's makes every order begrudgingly until the last minute otherwise the regional manager will personally come over and go ballistic. Got stuck on a half hour delivery 2 minutes till close once. That was kinda annoying. Pizza hut on the other hand would cancel, say there's not enough time to make it before we have to lock the doors and that the customer would have to hurry over or anything to try and talk them out of it, unless it was an online order but even then corporate was so uncaring that they probably could've cancelled those too. Feels weird doing anything out of the house because I know now that every worker hates me if I'm a customer.

So, I don't have a car and need to walk everywhere when I don't have a ride. Now about five years ago, I had a habit of reading while walking and I was always careful not to get too close to the road because I live in an area of my town that has no sidewalks. Anyway, I was walking home from work, nose in book, completely aware of my surroundings and any cars coming, maybe half a mile from my house, when I hear a car coming up from behind me. Now I was on the opposite side of the road from this incoming car so I was in no danger, but as it passed me I heard a lady yell, "STOP READING!!!!" or something like that. To say I was startled is putting it mildly. But let me reiterate, this car was nowhere near me and even if it was I was still as far away from the side of the road as I could get without ending up in the woods. So this lady had absolutely no reason to yell at me like that. But at the same time I can see where she was coming from. She saw me at the side of the road reading as I was walking and probably thought I was putting myself in danger, but there were easier ways to handle it instead of yelling at me as she drove past. Anyway, not sure if that counts as entitlement, but it was the only thing I could think of.

Sounds like your body can't properly digest the acids inside of onions, hence why the powder doesn't upset you because they've been dried out of the flesh. If it's the same with dry chopped onion, you might want to look into an imbalance between your stomach's natural acid levels, an imbalance can throw off your PH levels and cause indigestion and heartburn. A low PH on the other hand means your stomach may not be absorbing as much of the vitamins and nutrients as your body needs. If your body refuses something in one form but likes it in another, it means the thing that was in that food was removed by whatever process you used change the state of said food.
Yes, I am aware I'm being a bit nosy but when it comes to health, I don't mess around. I recently figured out my migraines were actually caused by a chain reaction. I didn't get enough vitamins as a child so my body had a lot of built up bad fats and toxins in my body. As I got older and started to eat better, I was actually getting healthy. However a knee injury my junior year fucked up my knee, resulting in me being much less active. Now before my knee got messed up, I was a fairly big girl but being unable to exercise made my muscles shrink and my fat stores grow.
Eventually my knee got better enough for me to get a job and slowly I felt better, confidence building... Until the first migraine hit and slowly they got more and more intense as time went on. At the time they got too bad for me to work, I was working at a certain chain hardware store as a cashier. Noticing my migraines seemed to be better when I worked in garden, they had me exclusively cashier out in garden. This was fine during autumn and spring but in Arizona, the winter and summers are very dry. Why is this important because I figured out my migraines were a due to an internal issue that my doctors apparently missed because they didn't ask about one thing "My water intake".
Now I can understand him assuming I drink plenty because I appeared well hydrated but that was were he made a mistake. He assumed I was drinking water (which I was) but the part that bugs me is it could have helped me sooner. At one point my iron and vitamin-c was low, so he told me to take a supplement, only for me to end up feeling nauseous from the iron. I had health issuance but never got a card or number, so I was limited to basic care and never not anything past an x-ray or the one MRI scan without contrast (which I had to pay out of pocket for).
After years of doctors not figuring it out and telling me it was probably my weight, I got stomach sleeve surgery and went from almost 400lbs to a little over 200lbs. However when I once again went back to work, the migraines were still there. By then I had learned to manage them with intaking water, because at the time I thought the migraines were just the heat but then they got worse again, only the throbbing pain was worse this time. The worse part is the memory issues and brain fog I was suffering made it so when I got fired, I couldn't think straight enough not to become depressed.
4 months stuck at home and suddenly I felt better again but this time, I could actually think properly. Using my deductive reasoning, I figured out between the hard unfiltered tap water I drank before and the purified water they gave us at my other job, I was nutrient deficient in mainly in Vitamin-C, Zinc, electrolytes, and Copper. Why is copper important? It helps regulate your body's water and electrolyte distribution to the body and is one of the few minerals we do not naturally have. When you are deficient in copper, your body quite literally falls apart as it is responsible for not only helping maintain body structure but regulating your heart, absorbing iron, and lastly, activating your immune system.
How did I become deficient in Copper? That was the purified water that flushed most of it out of my system and made my dehydration suddenly worse. Now the Vitamin -C deficiency... Well if you look at my pic, you'll see I've always been pale. However what is interesting is, the second I started feeling better and using proper nutrition, I actually started to get a bit of a tan and not just that but I started to get freckles like crazy. Looks like my Scottish roots are finally showing. XD
Now I'm sure you're curious how I got better and this is were it may seem far fetched, but I can guarantee I am not joking. I got better because of 'infused brownies'! To clarify, I infused coconut oil for the infusion and then made the batch of brownie. How did this help? Well, the coconut oil itself is very hydrating and has, potassium, calcium, vitamin E and other vitamins I was missing. On top of than the 'infusion' had lent it's brain chemical managing, mood regulating, and anti-inflammatory properties. 3 weeks of eating them for my pain and the suddenly one day, my mood was normal and the pain was not there. This is when I got to work finding out what was wrong and slowly adjusting my diet to meet my particular needs. I'm still working on it and by no means am back to 100% but seeing the small positive changes encourages me to move forward and hopeful become healthy enough to go back to work.
Moral of my story: Don't take your body for grated, making sure you listen to it and adjust your diet to meet the needs of your body and whatever physical activities you may be doing that day.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask. I'm literally bored out of my mind, which id probably why my comment ended up being so long. XD Hope you all have a blessed day.
