Nice looking ship actually - wasn't sure what to expect from this one, but she's looking pretty good!
The conquest class of ships are great!
She just came out of dry dock so she has her whale tail back, a fresh coat of paint and some minor enhancements to onboard venues.

I didn’t like the guys bbq restaurant so I honestly think it’s just not the best, I tried it on MARDI GRAS. I love how informative this video is I sail out in less then 40 days

Does this ship have an all white, all black attire or neon lights party....I do see alot of eating available......From this video its needed some major decor updates. He did say it caught fire in 2022 so most definitely safety repairs FIRST
The special events vary depending on cruise. I’d recommend searching Facebook for the ship and dates your sailing and join the group for that cruise. You will find lots of useful information in the group. Freedom just recently came out of drydock and received some upgrades and repair so she’s in better shape than when this video was shot. Enjoy your cruise!
We’re booked on this ship for next March but it had mostly bad reviews. Not sure I want to risk it .
She's in drydock right now and getting some upgrades. We enjoyed the ship with the exception of the bathroom odor. Hopefully, they address that issue in drydock.
Freedom and Liberty are a vibe. Either you'll love it or you'll hate it. If you've been on other ships in carnival fleets, which did you like most?
@@ebe7157 we like the smaller Carnival ships such as the Fantasy class which only include Elation and Paradise now. We will be on Pride in a few days and are super excited from what we’ve seen and heard about her!
Does the casino have table games?
Yes, blackjack, craps, roulette and poker if I recall correctly.

Did you see broken windows, notice a sewer smell, or experience air conditioner issues?
Did not have any AC issues in our cabin but did notice a sewer smell from the bathroom of our cabin and it became worse towards the end of the cruise. I have seen others mention the smell issue on this ship. I believe the broken windows were from the storm we ran into on the first night. I was lucky that I was taking a nap in my cabin when it happened. We had a neighbor down the hallway that spent the remainder of the cruise in a wheelchair due to furniture landing on his leg when the ship listed over.
Don’t look to luxurious. Just basic. These are the low level cruise ships
You are correct. Carnival definitely can be considered budget/entry level. But they do have a lot of loyal cruisers who could afford the more luxurious cruise lines but choose to stick with them.

@@Cruisinthrulife She's an older ship and due for the drydock. Her age is showing, and she definitely needs some updates. It was apparent with the condition of the ship when we sailed on her. Some areas looked worn and tired. This was my first time on a Conquest class ship, and I do like the layout of these ships. I am interested to see what upgrades they do to her in drydock and how she looks afterwards. The biggest issue we had during the cruise was a sewer smell from the cabin's bathroom toilet. It became worse towards the end of the cruise. I've heard others complain about this and can confirm it's an issue.
@CruisingAddicts I know they're finally replacing the funnel, do you know what else they're doing?
@@Cruisinthrulife the funnel replacement and the hull getting the new paint scheme are the two things I know for sure. There will likely be some interior upgrades also, but I don't know any details. I also believe this ship is due for the Starlink Wi-Fi upgrade and if it hasn't already been done, I would imagine they would do it during the drydock.
