I had the chance to meet the author of Khabib's book, "Khabib Time", Zaur Kurbanov and learn more about the eagle and the relationship with his father......
As you all know, back at UFC 223, UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov invited me to Dagestan, Russia.
Me being the trooper I am, took him up on his offer and came abroad to witness and learn more about the people of Dagestan.

As an Arab Muslim from Arabia, and as a person who memorized the Quran by the age of 12, I can safely say that his cousin’s recitation was pretty good, especially when one considers that Arabic is not his mother tongue, and the fact that his mother tongue is so much different than Arabic on so many levels. Well done little man, keep up the good work. Thanks for the awesome work, I have thoroughly enjoyed the Dagestan Chronicles, and I wish Khabib the very best.

Nope, not really. Khalid is an Arab name, that predates Islam and Christianity. AlAli is a huge tribe, and many of my distant relatives are Arab Christians from the Levant, to the north of Arabia. Many others are Shia Muslims from Iraq, and I on the other hand, happen to be a Sunni Muslim from the very bosom of Arabia.

I’ve only been to Andorra 🇦🇩, that’s the closest I ever got to your neck of the woods, and it was during a business trip to Toulouse, that I took that trip to gaze at the mighty Pyrenees. I find your language and cuisine unbelievably interesting. Oh, and btw, my ancestors lived in the Iberian peninsula from 711-1609, before moving back straight to Arabia after that. Would love to show you the documents and family trees we have as heirlooms from that time. The genetics are insane too. Especially the recessive ones. I still have first cousins to this very day, that are born with pale skin, slightly blonde or brown hair, and green-blue eyes. While they’re very own siblings, might look like me. Olive-skinned with dark black hair, and brown hair. It’s fascinating how genes 🧬 correlate with history.
As I said, I admire your culture, language, history, and cuisine. I also understand most of the contemporary struggle against the Spanish state. If you’re ever in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, let me know. Would love to have you as a guest at our home, and show you around.

the word "Al-Kauthar" has multiple but similar interpretation. Imam Ahmad recorded from Ibn `Umar that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, “Al-Kawthar is a river in Paradise whose banks are of gold and it runs over pearls. Its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey. “ (At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Ibn Abi Hatim and Ibn Jarir).
Al-Bukhari relates on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas that he said Al-Kawthar is the abundant blessings bestowed on the Messenger sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam by Allah.

Great work, i think you should Record some more of the natural scenes in dagestan like rivers and mountains and how khabib and his team train in them areas, that would take the series to a whole new level, and as well i think you should make like a extra documentary themed 1 hour video were you narrate in the background with some effects and add interesting opening scenes and angles like capturing the sun rising in the early morning at the start of each new scene or capture some more nature scenes and more like the birds chirping. Take advantage of the footage you can capture while your there then when your back at home you can edit something next level and since khabib is soon going to get a lot bigger so will this documentary off yours if you go ahead and make one and record khabib doing his every day think for example him running up a mountain with his team and so on and so forth you know what i mean. Good luck with everything, great content
