From exploring to the garage. Sunk canam 850 ATV Fail

- This weekend we thought we'd explore our own backyard. We knew there were trails around here, so we decided to pick some destinations and head out.
Between The Boss and Miss My Phone we knew we wouldn't get lost. Those girls are like human GPS.
We went from Miltown to Barter Settlement to find Potters Lake. We headed from there to Mohannes to visit Hanson's Cove. We shot over to the St. Croix River Reservoir to check out the Woodland Mill from the Canadian side and then we were going to come back through Upper Mills.
Well, on the way to Upper Mills we found a pit and got sidetracked. Turns out the pit was a terrible idea. The Rookie (who had a major ATV fail) sunk his CanAm and had to be towed home and we all spent the rest of the weekend with the time-consuming and relatively expensive job of cleaning it out.
That is a job we hope to not have to do again!

I got this one used trading in the 1000 for the 850 and it had these on it and honestly really enjoying them.
I 100% should of checked what I was in before going through with the bike. It was costly and could of ended way worse for me. Lesson learned the hard way.

Yeah we followed all the best steps and I think I got lucky thanks to the rest of the crew being super knowledgeable and helping me get everything done.
Not trying to Jinx it but if you went that far with it after all them oil changes its probably fine. Bikes get sunk all the time and as long as you don't try to start it before you drain everything they are usually OK.
Yeah I'm feeling pretty confident we changed every fluid till nothing was milky we did a big run up turtle mountain and no issues. So I'm thinking I got lucky and lesson learned to be more careful in future as it could of been way way worse.

Just to let you know. I've been enjoying your videos. Our riding styles are very similar. That's why I always wear the waders because I like to walk into those unfamiliar water holes. Drowning a bike can get expensive. BTW ... How come the XMR doesn't have the Cryptids ???

Man your nuts running that fast into something you havent been. I have the same quad but I’m super careful when entering the unknown. I like the rush but I don’t rush it lol. Hopefully that water was clean enough. Yeah you ruined your resale value but you had fun and you have a story.

Yep it was 100% dumb and should have thought more first. Everything with it is good we did a monster run up turtle mountain and no issues that will be out in a couple of weeks.
